BIANNUAL BIBLIOTHON & BOOKTUBE-A-THON TBR OF JULY 2017

Hello there fellow readers,
I’m going to participate in the Biannual Bibliothon and Booktube-A-Thon this winter. I’m in a reading slump and I hope to get rid of it by reading a heck load of books in one week. Unfortuneately, it would be impractical for me to read 7 books in one week since school is starting but I plan on destroying my reading slump and having an all-round great time. I’m also going to try to complete as many reading challenges as possible without buying any books and read books I’ve been planning to for a while. I also want to post as many BIBIB blog challenges and Instagram challenges of each readathon as I possibly can. It’s a lot in one week but I think we’re going to have a great time.

For the Biannual Bibliothon

• Group Book Challenge
• Read from the host’s favorite genre
• Read a book that has been or still is banned
• Throwback challenge
• Book to movie adaptation – read & watch
• Read a book you’ve seen somewhere other than booktube
• Read a LGBTQIA+ book

For the Booktube-A-Thon

• Read a book with a person on the cover
• Read a hyped book
• Finish a book in one day
• Read about a character that is very different from you
• Finish a book completely outdoors
• Read a book you bought because of the cover
• Read seven books

  Challenges:

  Challenges:
  1. Read a book with a person on the cover
  2. Read a hyped a book
  3.Read a book from the host’s favourite genre
  (I’ve chosen diverse which is Emma’s favourite genre)
• Frostbite by Richelle Mead
  Challenges:
  1. Read a banned book
  2. Finish a book in one day
  3. Finish a book completely outdoors (possibly, depending on weather)
  
• The Spiderwich Chronicles (Books 1 to 3 and possibly 4) by Holly Black & Tony DiTerlizzi
  Challenges:
  1. Book to movie adapation
  2. Throwback challenge
  (A Book from an Author You’ve Never Read Before)
  3. Read 7 books (if I do not get to this next book on my list then I’ll read book 4to complete this challenge)
  
• Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy by Cassandra Clare
  Challenges:
  1. LGBTQIA+ book (not really but there is some rep in this book)
  2. Read a book you bought because of the cover
  3. Read 7 books

These readathons are going to be super fun and I’m going to try and read as much as possible or at least start most of them. We’ll see how the week goes.
