Book Reviews

So I am participating in the Biannual Bibliothon this year. It’s super fun and I’ve put in some of their links to find out more info. But it’s basically a week-long readathon where you read as many books as possible while trying to complete as many challenges as you can.

Let’s just get on with the questions…..
1. What are you planning to read for the Summer Biannual Bibliothon?
I have a whole TBR post but here is my list:
– Ewan Pendle and the White Wraith by Shuan Hume
– To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han
– Frostbite by Richelle Mead
– The Spiderwick Chronicles Books 1 to 4 by Holly Black & Terri DiTerlizzi
– Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy by Cassandra Clare

2. What is your favourite genre to read in Summer?
It’s actually winter here in South Africa but I generally reach for either contemporary or some kind of fantasy, depending on my mood.

3. Where is your favourite place to read in the summer?
I generally read in bed but in summer I enjoy reading in the hammock.

4. What is your favourite challenge done in the Summer Biannual Bibliothon?
This is my first time participating so I don’t have a favourite yet.

5. What fictional character would you hang out in the summer if you could?
I would love to hang out with Percy and Annabeth from The Heroes of Olympus series by Rick Riordan.I think it’d be super fun. I can swim with Percy and Annabeth and I can talk about books. We’d have an all round good time.

6. What are your plans for summer?
I plan on reading and studying as much as I can this winter. I also want to write more.

7. Do you have summer reading playlist, if not what would be on it?
I don’t play a lot of music when I read but when I do I like listening to indie pop and alternative music. I especially like listening to Coldplay and Lorde.
8. What is your favourite summer movie?
I don’t really have a movie that I only watch during summer time, but I generally like watching romance movies and I re-watch Harry Potter all the time.

9. What book do you read every summer, if not what thing do you do every summer?
Again, I don’t really read a certain book every summer, but usually I tend to just re-read a favourite like a Mortal Instruments book if I’m in the mood.
10. What other book tags are you planning to do this summer?
I plan on posting as many BIBIB blog posts as possible. I also want to try the BTAT and BIBIB Instagram challenges, which are basically tags. Otherwise I haven’t really seen any other tags I want to do.
Seeing as this is a tag, I am going to tag anyone who is participating in the BIBIB. Good luck and happy reading!
