Synopsis:
After centuries of being lied to and treated poorly by the Clave, the Downworlders decide to come together and take matters into their own hands as the hunt for Valentine and Sebastian intensifies. But what starts off as a way to preserve their own, the Downworlders choice to break with the Shadowhunters, could quickly escalate to war.

Sebastian & Valentine
I feel like I say this in every review, but they just keeping getting heavier and more perfect. Sebastian is great. As always. I feel like Valentine has some other plan, but I have no idea what. They’re great. I’m excited
Malec
My heart hurts. They’re is so much tension. I can’t. There is something happening with Magnus, Why else would a powerful warlock like himself think the Seelie Queen will actually protect him. But I understand where he’s coming from. The Clave would not protect the Downworlders over their own kind.
Maia/Simon
These two are just too cute. I love them and I’m so excited to see where the relationship will go. And then when Maia was kidnapped, I freaked out. Simon, you must save her.
Clace
Okay, the rune power combining thing scene. Their scene was really sweet and I’m glad that they’re getting some screen time. I was pleased. And then the awkward holding/hugging thing put me off. I thought that was really awkward. But the two definitely have chemistry that can be developed. I feel that the way the show has been changing certain storylines that we’ll never get the Clace we know in the books, but I sincerely hope we get some great, non-cringey scenes in the future and I feel like it will get better. I really liked the kiss at the end. Fingers crossed.
Catarina Loss
I LOVE her. And I am so pumped to see more. Also, I really loved seeing Madzie. She’s too cute.
The Seelie Queen
I knew we could never trust her. Why is she obsessed with Simon? Sarah Hyland is great. I hope she stays on. And although I’d already seen the sneak peek of her and Simon, it was great watching a 2nd time. I’m curious to where her storyline goes.
Fight Scenes
I  LOVED those fight scenes. They were SO good. Alec blessed us with his bow. Clary is getting so much better at fighting. Then we get to Jace & Sebastian (We’re going to stick with this name). I WAS ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT BASICALLY SCREAMING. Whoah. Jace said some great lines. Then he gets stabbed. I AM STILL SCREAMING. And when Izzy came in to save Jace. Our queen. That is what I want to see. She was AMAZING. I’ve never loved her more than in that moment. A+++ And then Jace stabs Sebastian (hold up, why is he standing now, I thought he was in pain? we’ll just pass that point) and tosses him into the river. I am 99.9% certain he is not dead. Maybe CoFA plot line is coming into place, although it’s waaaayyyyy too early. Who knows?

I AM EXCITED. It looks so good. I hope it will be. The dragon. Clary crying. I am freaking out. I cannot wait!!
