MY THOUGHTS
(SPOILERS AHEAD)
What a finale! It was soooo good. A great way to end the season.
We basically didn’t see Sebastian at all this episode, but at least he’s not dead. He’s obviously going to play an even bigger role next season. Lilith is going to be his mother and I’m super excited to see who she’ll be casted as.
Malec is back together. I am content. I really loved the scene where Alec, Magnus and Izzy were putting the demon back to Edom. I love them. I also liked the scene when the four of them were in the streets trying to hit the demon (dragon?) down before Jace and Clary left. It worked really nicely.
I always knew we could never trust the Seelie Queen. I’m glad Maia’s okay. But what did Simon give her? I’m genuinely curious. Probably something bad. Correction, of course something bad.
I am also basically satisfied with Clace. They actually did a good job, it’s not perfect but I still liked it. I knew Jace was going to “die” but I was still sad. It hit me in the feels to see Alec and Clary’s pain. And I love that he said what he did as his last words (you know what I’m talking about).
Valentine is dead. Finally is all I can say. One thing I didn’t like was that Clary was the one to do it. The Angel killed him in the books, but it doesn’t bother me too much. The fight scene was great. Let’s talk about Raziel. What a second… was he going to give Valentine his wish? He literally almost did. Let’s just go with it. Also, typical Valentine to get the Consul on his side. I was on the edge of my seat when they nearly executed Clary. That was scary.
Drunk Luke was too funny. I was in hysterics. Now we just need to find out what is happening with his shady partner. Literally no idea what she’s up to.
This episode was really good. There was so much book content and I am pleased. I really loved it and the episode was very well done. I am pumped to see what happens in season 3.
