Synopsis:
What if all the crushes you ever had found out how you felt about them… all at once?
Sixteen-year-old Lara Jean Song keeps her love letters in a hatbox her mother gave her. They aren’t love letters that anyone else wrote for her; these are ones she’s written. One for every boy she’s ever loved—five in all. When she writes, she pours out her heart and soul and says all the things she would never say in real life, because her letters are for her eyes only. Until the day her secret letters are mailed, and suddenly, Lara Jean’s love life goes from imaginary to out of control.
MY THOUGHTS
I haven’t loved a book this much in such a long time. It was so amazingly good. I had the best time reading them all. This book is amazing. And you should go and read it.
Lara Jean is the best. She loves to bake and read and wear quirky clothes. She’s confident in herself. I love her character so much. I’ve never related to a charcater that much. I loved the family relationship. Kitty is great. I loved the relationship Lara Jean had with Margot, even when it got a bit rocky later. I really loved the food element to the book. Lara Jean’s dad is great. They love movies. What more could you want?
Now let’s talk Peter. Peter is my new bae. I adored him.He loves food too, especially testing Lara Jean’s. I loved the scenes with him and Kitty tasting all the food. They were great. I also loved that Kitty and Peter got on so well and had their own kind of relationship. Peter is awesome. I also really like Chris, even though she’s a bit odd, she’s always there to help Lara Jean.
Lara Jean and Peter together are the cutest and the best. I laughed when she ran down the hall right at the beginning. Their relationship developed so well. It really fits. It’s not agnsty and just works so well. I love them. I’d get really nervous when she talked to a boy who got a letter. Peter driving them around is so sweet. Their notes during class were so funny. He’s so sweet. You could see from the beginning he liked her but was too focused on Genevieve to give it much attention. Which got frustrating but I kind of understood it because they were together for so long that I could imagine it’s hard to just let go of. The two of them trying to make her jealous was great. They’re so cute. The whole ski trip was a hot mess. But I’m glad they admitted their feelings for each other. And Kitty would always try to tag along. My heart. It melts. I was routing for them the entire time (sorry Josh, didn’t really like you). This whole series makes my heart melt.
Next one…..
BOOK #2
Title: P.S. I Still Love You
Author: Jenny Han
Page count: 337
Date published: 15 April 2014
Genre: Romance & Contemporary
Rating:
Synopsis:
Lara Jean didn’t expect to really fall for Peter.
She and Peter were just pretending. Except suddenly they weren’t. Now Lara Jean is more confused than ever.
When another boy from her past returns to her life, Lara Jean’s feelings for him return too. Can a girl be in love with two boys at once?
In this charming and heartfelt sequel to the New York Times bestseller To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, we see first love through the eyes of the unforgettable Lara Jean. Love is never easy, but maybe that’s part of what makes it so amazing.
MY THOUGHTS
To be honest, this book isn’t my favourite of the three. What I loved the most was that they were dating. Like, for real. Peter is the sweetest boyfriend. He was so upset that everyone was talking about Lara Jean. Thank goodness for Peter. I did get a bit frustrated with him in this book though. I don’t know why. But I love him anyway.
Kitty and Lara Jean pushing for the dog was too funny. I loved it. Kitty is so cute.
I really liked McClaren. He is so great. So is his grandmother. It was so very hard not to like him. I think it’s because we only see his good side. There was so much drama in this book. I really really really like John but I love Peter. I kind of made a decision but it was so hard. I really liked the treehouse scenes and the games after that.
I didn’t like the breakup. It was painfull. They can’t breakup. And then he drove Kitty around. My heart was aching. The two of them need to be together. They’re miserable otherwise. Just be together.
Overall, the book got a little frustrating at times, but I still loved it.
BOOK #3
Title: Always And Forever, Lara Jean
Author: Jenny Han
Page count: 325
Date published: 2 May 2017
Genre: Romance & Contemporary
Rating:
Synopsis
Lara Jean is having the best senior year. And there’s still so much to look forward to: a class trip to New York City, prom with her boyfriend Peter, Beach Week after graduation, and her dad’s wedding to Ms. Rothschild. Then she’ll be off to college with Peter, at a school close enough for her to come home and bake chocolate chip cookies on the weekends.
Life couldn’t be more perfect!
At least, that’s what Lara Jean thinks…until she gets some unexpected news.
Now the girl who dreads change must rethink all her plans—but when your heart and your head are saying two different things, which one should you listen to?
MY THOUGHTS
This book had all I ever wanted. Peter and Lara Jean are in a steady relationship. Kitty is still just as cute. Lara Jean’s dad is happy. I just loved this book. It was so good. I loved it.
Lara Jean and Peter are amazing. There is nothing holding their relationship back anymore. Except college. But I was never worried. I knew she wouldn’t get her first choice but that she’d fit into the one she didn’t really like at the beginning. I can’t this enough, they were just too cute.
I really liked reading about applying to college and it all being the last time doing everything, because I know that it will be me very soon. Then came the first time she got drunk. And then the kind of fight with Peter. I felt so bad. They both were really worried about what would happen to their relationship because they love each other so much. It was so sad.
Lara Jean and Kitty fighting over wedding arrangements was too cute. I loved how they both wanted completely different things. The wedding was beautiful in the end. It’s too bad that Peter only came afterwards. But he came. And I was happy.
This book was just great. The series is great. I loved it. They were all so easy to read. And I just devoured them. What did you think of them? Let me know in the comments!

I seriously need to read this series!! It sounds so cute and for some reason, I really love when characters like to bake, haha. I definitely need to read these books before the movie comes out! Great review 🙂
