Synopsis
Even if Blue hadn’t been told her true love would die if she kissed him, she would stay away from boys. Especially the ones from the local private school. Known as Raven Boys, they only mean trouble.
But this is the year that everything will change for Blue. This is the year that she will be drawn into the strange and sinister world of the Raven Boys. And the year Blue will discover that magic does exist. This is the year she will fall in love.

MY THOUGHTS
**WARNING… SPOILERS AHEAD**
So my previous post was about all the popular books I needed to read. Well that was fast wasn’t it?! *cue nervous laughter* I devoured this book and now we’re here. Loved it, as you can see by my rating. I should probably be reading the second book, but again here I am.
Okay, Blue is amazing and I really loved her character. I love her style and her personality. I really liked her family and that whole dynamic. And I’ve never read about psychics before and I really enjoyed it. I think Blue is just such a strong character and I’m excited to see her development.
Gansey. Oh Gansey. He is the character I’ve been looking for. I love the real Gansey. Gansey’s just great. I CANNOT wait to see the development between him and Blue and I know I’m going to love it.  I was living for the vision scenes and I am so PUMPED. I also just love his passion for this quest. It’s so interesting. And so are the ley lines. I’m just really excited to learn more and become more enveloped by the story. I also enjoyed his and Blue’s relationship, but to be honest I think they’d be better as friends. And I may or may not be saying that just because I need Bluesy to be a thing.
So Adam. I enjoyed his character. But I had a suspicion that something was going to happen with him. I still like him, yet I have a strong feeling there’s going to be some dark path ahead for him. I actually don’t really understand why he wouldn’t take Gansey’s money, because I sure would. Nah I’m kidding but still don’t get why he was being so stubborn.
It was the opposite for Ronan. I was a bit suspicious and didn’t really like him at first. Now, I completely trust him. I loved how he came back and beat Adam’s dad up because I hated him. Plus his raven is adorable. He’s like a mom and I’m excited to see where his story goes next book with his dreams and all that. I also really enjoyed Noah. I didn’t see it coming that he was a ghost though…. I did know something was up but couldn’t put my finger on it. It’s fine. I’m fine.
Anyways….. plot was great. Obviously. The writing was also really well done although I did sometimes drift for a few seconds. THE CHARACTERS ARE AMAZING. Did I already mention that?! Great. Fantastic. Amazing. Don’t know what else to say. I loved it and I’m going to leave know and start book two.
