Did I just gobble this entire book in one sitting? Why yes I did. I may have been in my pyjamas all day (no joke ALL DAY) but it was sooooo worth it. I have emotions right now and I cannot contain them. The plot had so much more action. The characters ripped my heart and left in on the floor. I have a new favourite character. Argghhhh such a good sequel!!

I really enjoy Kenji. He’s kinda annoying but he’s become a really great character to read. I can see he’s going to be a really important character in the upcoming books. I also snorted a couple times. I also adore James. He’s such a sweet little childling.
I trust Castle but I can also see he may be a Coin (The Hunger Games if you don’t know who I’m talking about) so I’m a little wary. But if Kenji trusts him, then so will I.
I HATE ANDERSON. He is sick and that is all I have to say
Adam is like an injured animal. He needs taking care of but he’s a bit too clingy for my taste. He doesn’t understand the way we need him to. I don’t hate him but he needs to chill. I know he cares and he’s trying his best. But he doesn’t trust Juliette. He doesn’t understand her enough to be the person she needs. I’m being way too deep… But he literally is weak when around her. Juliette is weak around him. A little unhealthy.
Juliette is growing on me much more than I expected. I just want to be her friend. One thing that is annoying me is that she is always “not breathing”. She’s always falling which is frustrating. You can tell she’s strong but she doesn’t act like it. Anyways… I’m enjoying her otherwise.
My one true love of this lies with Warner though… I feel like he’s an open book and I totally understand him and everything he does. It’s weird. He’s a precious cinnamon roll with a soft heart ready to love and he’s one of the nicest people EVER. I JUST LOVE HIM SO MUCH. He acts like he doesn’t care but deep down you know his heart is aching and that he really is just the biggest softie. I will protect this boy who should be shielded from this cruel world and is too good for it. He also should just tell Juliette why he did those horrible things because they’re not actually that horrible (READ DESTROY ME AND YOU’LL KNOW WHY).
The writing style is just so unique and I can see the metaphors everyone is talking about. I do feel I sometimes lose myself while reading but it’s very refreshing (if that makes any sense). Seeing as I read a book nearly 500 pages in basically 24 hours then it definitely is very easy to read.

GOODREADS SYNOPSIS:
As Omega Point prepares to launch an all-out assault on The Reestablishment soldiers stationed in Sector 45, Adam’s focus couldn’t be further from the upcoming battle. He’s reeling from his breakup with Juliette, scared for his best friend’s life, and as concerned as ever for his brother James’s safety. And just as Adam begins to wonder if this life is really for him, the alarms sound. It’s time for war. On the battlefield, it seems like the odds are in their favor—but taking down Warner, Adam’s newly discovered half-brother, won’t be that easy. The Reestablishment can’t tolerate a rebellion, and they’ll do anything to crush the resistance . . . including killing everyone Adam has ever cared about.

I enjoyed this more than I expected. I wasn’t really into Adam so didn’t think it’d be as interesting as it was. The first half was kind of unnecessary since it was what read in Unravel Me but the entirety of the story wasn’t all that bad. The second half got interesting. NOW I NEED TO READ IGNITE ME OMG
