So I’m back again with some movie reviews! I hope you like these. Also I’m horrible at keeping track of what I watch so I created a thread of movies (and some tv) on twitter that I watch and I try to make aesthetics (but it’s hard) and they’re not great but I TRY.
Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle
So I have kind of mixed feelings with this one. I heard people say that it was really good but I disagree. I think it was decent but it didn’t feel like Jumangi. It was a little (in my opinion) cheesy and was more like a jungle game not like the original. With the original, you knew it was dangeroud and you felt that but I didn’t get that with this movie. Anyways I was really disappointed.
I was browsing Netflix because I didn’t know what I wanted to watch. I saw Debbie Ryan and I thought ‘why not?’. Now I didn’t hate this movie, it wasn’t mind-blowing but I thought it was okay. I liked the plot line. The story was a bit off at times and I had no care in the romance but it wasn’t at all bad.
I was in a romance mood and I remebered liking this movie so I gave it a rewatch. I think I liked it more before but I did enjoy it. It was quite a late but I just landed it up finishing it. I don’t really know how to explain my feelings on this.
Maze Runner: The Death Cure
If you saw my most anticipated movies & tv shows then you must’ve seen this was on it. The reviews were good and the trailer seemed awesome. Even though I remember nothing from book 2 and never actually finished this book, I still thoroughly remembered. Especially Dylan O’Brien obviously. It was action-packed and very fast paced. It did really feel like we were thrown in but it’s been a while since the previous movie so it’s understandable. I think it was really good. I like the characters and the plot was well flushed out.
The Princess Diaries
This was yet again a rewatch because I was in the romance-y type mood. I’ve seen these several times and I still really love them. This is just very enjoyable and fun. I don’t know what much else to say just that I just really loved watching it again.
So I watched the 2003 version because I was in the biggest disney mood. I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. I love Peter and Wendy together and am bummed they never get together. The characters are great and the plot is really well done. Just so nostalgic
okay now we’re getting into my favourites…
I don’t know if you’ve heard but Hayley Kiyoko dropped an album and I was feeling nostalgic and yet again rewatched an old favourite and can I just say how much I love this movie?! It’s really good. The music is the best but I love all the characters and it’s just so fun. Hayley’s album is great and this movie is just so good!
He’s Just Not That Into You
I’m actually not going to ask how many movies I’ve rewatched. But this movie is so much fun. I loved it even more than I expected. It’s so much fun and I love Beth & Neil and also Gigi & Alex. It’s just so much fun.
Now I have seen this (okay I know it’s not funny) but I didn’t remember too much about it but I heard it’s just so fun and I gave it another go and BOY DID I LOVE IT. It was honestly the best time. I’d been learning about the exact Russian history at school and I loved the music and all the characters. Arghh it was so good.
So yeah my top 3 favourites are all re-watches but before I even start I’m just going to tell you that you need to watch this movie if you haven’t. Like you NEED this precious piece of art in your life. This like one of my top movies ever. I just love it so much. I also may or may not have watched it once and then like 4 days later put it on again. But it’s so good and I’d take forever to explain it so click here for the trailer. It’s just so amazing and I am literally OBSESSED. This movie is taking over my life. I also skim read the book and it’s quite a faithful adaptation so I HIGHLY RECOMMEND
HAVE YOU SEEN ANY OF THESE MOVIES? DID YOU LOVE ANY OF THEM? HAVE YOU WATCHED MY FAVOURITES? WHAT ARE SOME MOVIES YOU’VE SEEN RECENTLY THAT YOU’VE LOVED? I’D LOVE TO KNOW!
