APRIL RECAP // new theme, movies + becoming a rep

I know I said it last time, but WHERE HAS THE YEAR GONE? I’ve got a busy two months coming up because of exams so like dreading it. SEND HELP TO A POOR GIRL PLEASE?!
I’ll talk about them in a book haul but like I GOT SO MANY AWESOME AND BEAUTIFUL BOOKS omg. Like I need to read them NOW.
It’s been a pretty decent reading month in terms of books I enjoyed. I didn’t read much (I’ll tell you why later) but what I did read were books that I loved.

– Never Fade by Alexandra Bracken {★★★★★}: If ya’ll didn’t know, I was on a dystopian and super power high last month and read The Darkest Minds which I LOVED. It was an amazing time so READ IT IF YOU HAVEN’T! Anyways I love these books even though they can drag a little bit. I read it for Liam okay?! (review here)
– In The Afterlight by Alexandra Bracken {★★★★★}: Same goes with this one. It annoyed at first but I died when it ended so I couldn’t rate this one any less. (review here)
– Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas {★★★★☆}: I listened to this one via audibook for a read-a-long and I had the best time. I want to listen to all the audibooks now. It was fun and I loved the world and I’m excited to read the others! (review here)
 
Monthly Recap - tbr
Why yes, of course, I didn’t read any of the books I was planning on reading last month. But to be fair, I’m waiting for my physical copy of Restore Me and the others I wasn’t really in the mood for. Also, I was in a little bit of a slump which I’ll get to later. I’m in the BIGGEST contemporary mood lately so here are some books I’d like to get to. As I said, exams are coming up so not sure how many of these I’ll get to.

  • I got some books for a giveaway in the upcoming future from a publisher which is exciting
  • I’ve been wanting to change my theme for a while but none of them really worked for me. I eventually found one that did. I’m satisfied with it so I hope you guys are too

  • I went to the bookstore with my friend Amy which was fun

I’ve been having the best time with movies!! I love writing MOVIE REVIEWS
I’ve been saying that I haven’t been reading much, well that’s because I have been obsessed with Once Upon A Time. I watch this show ALL THE TIME omg. I don’t read ay night anymore. Anyways it’s addictive and I CANNOT STOP. Also like Hook is my fave <3 and I love Captain Swan!!

An overall fun month in general. I need to read more though. I just want to read all the contemporaries though. Like I looked back and I really haven’t read any.
