1) Aristotle & Dante Discover The Secrets of The Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz

aristotle & dante discover the secrets of the universeI know this is a well-loved book and that there should be a sequel coming soon. From what I gather its a gay coming of age story with a friendship and what I assume a road trip. I mean from the synopsis I already want it NOW because its something I think I’d love. Ari and Dante are complete opposites but manage to break down each other’s walls and it sounds amazing and heart-wrenching. Click here to read more.

2) Carry On by Rainbow Rowell

carry onI don’t know if you know but I adore Rainbow’s writing and I truly don’t know why I haven’t read this. It’s similar to Harry Potter and also has an unlikely gay romance. Rainbow’s writing is how I want to write and I just adore it. I read a few of short stories last year and, again, adored them so I don’t know why I have read almost none of her books. I’m a terrible person I know. I also know I’ll love it so why?? It was also recently announced that there’s a sequel in a few years so even more motivation.

3) The Gentleman’s Guide To Vice & Virtue by Mackenzi Lee

gentleman's guide
This one has nothing but high praises and has been sitting on my shelf for months. It’s got a bisexual main character and another asexual character. This book is supposed to be hilarious and amazing and I AM HYPED. The characters go on a journey across Europe and I truly don’t know why I haven’t read it!

4) Leah On The Offbeat by Becky Albertalli

leah on the offbeatOkay, I’m just going to squawk about Becky’s books for a minute. I absolutely adore her books. I love Simon Vs and really enjoyed Upside. The characters are awesome and her stories are splendid. The only reason I haven’t read it yet is because I’m waiting for my physical copy to arrive. I’m so excited to read about Simon again and to see where Leah’s story is going to go! Oh, Leah is bisexual and there’s also gay representation

5) Little & Lion by Brandy Colbert

little & lion
I don’t know too much about this but a few people whose opinion I trust LOVED it. It’s about siblings and discovering your sexuality. The main character has a crush but also starts to fall for the girl her brother is in love with so its got bisexual representation.

6 & 7) Daughter of The Burning City and Ace of Shades by Amanda Foody

I have a friend who keeps screaming at me to read this and they sound super amazing. They both have bisexual characters and Daughter has a demiromantic asexual character. Tbh I’m more excited for Ace of Shades because it has gangs and games and I AM SO EXCITED.

8) Tash Hearts Tolstoy by Kathryn Ormsbee

tash hearts tolstoyOkay so this book has online creators and the main character is obsessed with Anna Karenina and I’ve been doing Russian history and this book SOUNDS SO FREAKING GOOD. It has asexual representation and I’ve heard nothing but good reviews and I NEED IT NOW! I think it’s about an online video series that goes viral and is selected for an award. There’s a cyber-romance with one of the other award nominees and it’s going to be great

9) I Was Born For This by Alice Oseman

i was born for this
I truly know nothing about this just that the author has high praises and that it has transgender representation and also a muslim girl. I think it has fandom aspects to it and a friend of mine raves about it. It sounds really good and I’ve never read a book with a trans character before.

10) What If It’s Us by Becky Albertalli & Adam Silvera

what if it's us
So you know I love Becky and I’m scared to read Adam’s books just because I generally stay away from emotional books but I will read them someday. It’s obviously going to be great. It’s about these two boys who meet (so a gay romance) but they doubt if they should be together. It isn’t out yet but I’ve heard great things and know it’ll be perfection and I am HYPED!
