Btw, this is a sequel so there isn’t much I can say without spoiling you…

I love the opening scenes of the book! We were just thrown into a mission and it was epic. Again, I love how the superpowers these characters have. I think they’re so cool and unique to the story.
THE POLITICS!! I am so confused? Like whose side am I supposed to be on? I was just so thrown when Agent N was announced. It’s of course wrong and I totally agree with Nova but just AHHHH. Like I don’t know what to think. I like Hugh and Simon as characters but on the other hand, their reforms are really wrong.
I feel the same as Ace. Just first off: THEY KNEW THE ENTIRE TIME AND I AM SHOOK. I get bad vibes from him though. Something is definitely up.
I HAVE SO MANY EMOTIONSSSSS!!!!
I loved the scene where Adrian went into Max’s quarantine. My heart melted, I love that kid so much.
The Ruby and Oscar awkward thing going on was so funny. I loved them so much.
The last 100 pages of this book. A WHIRLWIND. They were so good and I was scared out of my mind!!! It was all just so good. That damn ending. I was legit at the end and I turn the page and THE ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS SHOW. I was like WAIT WHAT?!?!?! NOOOOO. I was so mad. SO AMAZING CAN I HAVE BOOK 3!!!! My heart won’t be able to handle it though.
NOVA AND ADRIAN OH MY GOD. Truly one of the best romances out there. I ship them so much I can’t even. I KNEW THAT NOVA WOULD FALL ASLEEP BECAUSE OF ADRIAN AHHH. I needed it in my life and Marissa Meyer provided. My heart is content. That whole scene was perfect. I love them so much and WHEN ARE THE REVEALS COMING AHHHH.
I need the next book yesterday already. I AM SO READY FOR IT!!!

As you already know, I’ve had a slight superhero movie obsession so I thought what better way to share some of my favourites than this so I hope you like 😉

Also, I’m not putting The Avengers on this list because I’m low-key over them and also you have probably already seen it. That’s one of the most popular ones but the few I have selected are the ones I personally really love.

Captain America: The First Avenger

I have not seen this movie in a hot second BUT when I watched it like 3 years ago I TOTALLY LOVED IT. It’s the back story to Captain America and I clearly remember sitting in front of the tv and I was entranced. I thought it was excellent. I should rewatch to make sure that I do still like. It’s set in 1941 and it had heist type vibes. I remember really loving the characters.

Superman

Now I have not seen the original ones from the 80s and I really need to. I have seen Superman Returns which I like. I recently rewatched it and it’s not a perfect movie but as I said, I enjoyed it. But that aside, I love the character of Superman. I love his power and I love the villain. He’s just such an iconic superhero and I couldn’t not add him to my list.

Elektra

This is another movie I haven’t seen in a while. So I don’t know if it’s still as good as I remember. But I really enjoyed when I saw it a few years ago. I love Jennifer Garner, she’s great. I don’t know if Elektra is considered a superhero but I mean she could be. It’s about an assassin and I thought it was epic. The character is badass and again, I just remember really enjoying. I definitely need to see it again to see if I like it as much.

Spider-man

I’m putting all of them on this list because why the heck not?? They’re all great. I love the Toby McGuire ones, although I haven’t seen them in a while. I also really enjoyed the Andrew Garfield ones and I LOVE Spider-man Homecoming. Tom Holland is amazing. I just have a giant soft spot for Spider-man. I’ve always loved watching them. I love Peter Parker as a character and I love his humour. Can I rave enough? I also really want to see Into The Spiderverse. I know that’ll be amazing since I love animated movies.

X-Men

These movies are so freaking amazing, I cannot even tell you. I’ve been obsessed with them over the past few months and THEY’RE SO GOOD. I’m caught up on all of them at this point and I’m so excited for the Dark Phoenix. If you haven’t heard of X-Men, well, they’re about this “species” of humans called mutants who the humans fear that have unique abilities. One of these mutants, who’s a telepath starts a school, a sanctuary, for mutants to learn to control their abilities. That’s what the original three are about. The more recent ones are the prequels, the backstory, to that. The originals are great but I think my favourite is Days of Future Past which I just rewatched and IT IS PHENOMENAL. It’s one of the best movies I’ve seen in a while and may be my personal favourite of all of the X-Men. It was so amazing. Anyways, I highly recommend these movies, I guarantee who that you’ll enjoy them.

Incredibles 1 & 2

I mean, we all knew this was going to be on this list. Incredibles 2 is one of my favourite movies of all time. It’s spectacular, I loved it so much. These are animated Pixar movies and they’re so great. It’s about these two married superheroes who have been banned from using they’re abilities and are forced to live normal lives. But Mr Incredible does not enjoy this life so goes on a secret mission that allows him to be a super again and things unravel from there. They’re so good. I mean the animation is of course great. The characters and dialogue are excellent. I cannot express how much I love them and YOU MUST WATCH THEM!!

That’s it for my list. I hope you enjoyed this post. I certainly enjoyed talking about all the superheroes. Definitely not because I secretly need telekinesis…
