THE FIRST BOOK HAUL OF THE YEAR (AND IN A WHILE) // aka this is way too many books and i'm suffocating

Oh jeez, it’s been a hot second since my last haul. Like literally September of last year. And not only did I just get regular books throughout the months, but I was also invited to a book sale and picked out a whole ton of books for super cheap. So um, this haul is going to be freakishly long and consist of a LOT of books… Go grab some popcorn because we’re going to be here a while folks. The Darkest Legacy by Alexandra Bracken: I shame myself for still not having read this book yet and it came out like 6 months ago. But thanks to Pan MacMillan for…

A THOUSAND PERFECT NOTES // author interview with C.G. Drews ft. mini book review

I’m literally the worst person I know please don’t kill me for disappearing again. Okay now that that’s out of the way. I actually finally read this book and IT WAS GLORIOUS. And I may or may not have begged Cait to answer some of my weird-ass questions and she kindly obliged. Now granted I read this book like 3 weeks ago so the review will be short but hopefully the glory of Cait will make up for that. Anyways, without further ado, let’s get into it. Anywho, I hope this quenches your thirst of Ruby’s amazing and interesting posts. One other thing, none of these are “backlist” movies except the late 2017 movie releases because 1)  I…

JANUARY RECAP // school, overwhelming stress but back on the reading game

HOW THE FRICK IS JANUARY ALREADY OVER? WHAT EVEN! I’m trying to be on time with my recaps right now if you didn’t notice. We’ll see how long it lasts…. January was a pretty decent month. I mean, it wasn’t terrible. We had our ups and downs but you know we came out stronger (i hope) Look how many books I read!! I AM PROUD!!   Carry On by Rainbow Rowell {★★★★★}: MY HEART IS STILL NOT OVER THIS BOOK. It was my first read of the year and was of course B-R-I-L-L-I-A-N-T! Rainbow Rowell is a genius and my gay-loving heart is totally LIVING. I needed Wayward Son yesterday…
