Highly Suspicious and Unfairly Cute by Talia Hibbert (3 January 2023): I was excited about Ms Hibbert’s YA romance last year and I’m still excited now I WANT IT *sighs*
French Kissing In New York by Anne-Sophie Jouhanneau (3 January 2023): I saw the title and the Taylor Swift reference in the synopsis and I had to have it,,,

Hell Bent by Leigh Bardugo (10 January 2023): nope I have not read book one, I’m just holding myself accountable to actually read it so I can get to the sequel, which shall happen often in this post *hides*
Exes and O’s by Amy Lea (10 January 2023): still need to get to this author’s debut but I have a physical ARC of this one, this cover is adorable and I’m ready for the swooning!!!
Lunar Love by Lauren Kung Jessen (10 January 2023): was totally swayed by this fun title and tagline “enemies to lovers with astrology”. Count me in for this debut YA rom-com!!!
Friday I’m In Love by Camryn Garrett (10 January 2023): I AM HERE FOR THE GLORIOUS RAINBOW COVER and that is all. Mostly.

Emily Wilde’s Encyclopaedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett (10 January 2023): this title had me HOOKED and idk they are professors in small towns studying faeries and it seems amazing *insert heart eyes*
Seven Percent of Ro Devereux by Ellen O’Clover (17 January 2023): Rachel Lynn Solomon recommends this and that’s all I needed to know. Second chance YA romance I’M READY xoxoxo
Begin Again by Emma Lord (24 January): please ignore that I have not read her last book and just focus on the fact that I did catch up with You Have A Match this year. I really want that gold star folks. Now just two more to go and as usual, Macmillan is the best by blessing me with an eARC for this one. The countdown begins.
Chain of Thorns by Cassandra Clare (31 January 2023): another countdown because I’m behind and I’m not ready for this series to already be over. Always late to the party welp

Just My Type by Falon Ballard (7 February 2023): First of all, I really want to read this author’s first book and secondly, this is second chance rivals to lovers and I NEED IN MY LIFE
This Time It’s Real by Ann Liang (7 February 2023): I’ve been following this author on social media talking about her fake dating rom-com and this cover is everything so I just know I’m going to love.
These Infinite Threads by Tahereh Mafi (7 February 2023): have I read the first book? No. Do I deserve public shaming? Yes. I’ll see myself out,,,

Where Darkness Blooms by Andrea Hannah (21 February 2023): stumbled upon this cover and suddenly I was ready to read to sacrifice myself. No idea why. This is an eerie YA type thriller that involves sunflowers idk but it sounds drop-dead gorgeous (pun intended!!)
Immortality: A Love Story by Dana Schwartz (28 February 2023): I have a feeling I’m going to love the first book so here we are. There is nothing else to my thought process.
A Day of Fallen Night by Samantha Shannon (28 February 2023): you getting bored of the game where I anticipate a book in a series I haven’t started yet? Well me too so I should probably fix that *hides*
Last Violent Call by Chloe Gong (28 February 2023): I NEEDED THIS BOOK YESTERDAY OMG I CANNOT WAIT MY BABIES ARE BACK AND I’M SCREAMING FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love and Other Flight Delays by Denise Williams (1 March 2023): I’ve had my eye on this author for a while so mayhaps yell at me to catch up BUT this one is a set of romance novellas set at an airport and suddenly I appeared *wink wink*
The Adventures of Amina Al-Sirafi by S.A. Chakraborty (7 March 2023): I have had the Daevebad trilogy on my tbr for far too long yes BUT THIS COVER IS EVERYTHING AND I NEED THIS BOOK NOW!!! Seriously JUST LOOK!!!! They are pirates and MY BODY IS READY!!!
The Love Wager by Lynn Painter (14 March 2023): I just love this author’s ridiculously funny dialogue and will read everything she writes. I also just got approved for an eARC and I’m ready to tuck into this cutie.
The Witch and the Vampire by Francesca Flores (21 March 2023): this is a complete cover obsession but also this says queer Rapunzel and I am intrigued
The Quarantine Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot (28 March 2023): yes I am idk how many books behind on this series and I could not even tell you which of them I have actually read but the movies are my ride or die so we can ignore that and move on. BECAUSE OH MY GOD I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS IS A THING AND I HAVE MY POPCORN READY lmao

Stars and Smoke by Marie Lu (4 April 2023): shame on you for not notifying me that this book was a thing till yesterday and I don’t even know what it’s about but I’ll be reading nonetheless!!!
Silver In The Bone by Alexandra Bracken (4 April 2023): strike number two for being out of the loop on this book yet again but I worship the ground this author works on and will read anything she writes!!!! I think they’re both YA fantasies of some kind, I really didn’t need to look them up to be excited
Atlanta by Jennifer Saint (13 April 2023): I have ~definitely~ read both of this author’s author two books, why wouldn’t I have? Shhhh. This is yet another greek mythology retelling but about disappointing daughters and my heart is already taken for!!!!
Happy Place by Emily Henry (25 April 2023): I’ll be crying for eternity when this book landed in my inbox and I’m nervous to end my year with another destructive experience but also HOW COULD I NOT READ NOW?!?!?! I need to pluck up some courage, so pray for me IM NOT READY!!!!!! I AM READY FOR SECOND CHANCE EXES FAKE DATING ON HOLIDAY *cries*

The Sun and The Star by Rick Riordan & Mark Oshiro (2 May 2023): whilst I may be behind on sir Rick’s other series, at least I’m more or less up to date with these stunning boys and I’m ready for Nico and Will to be adorable!!!!
The Firefly Summer by Morgan Matson (2 May 2023): please ignore that i’m not up to date with Ms Matson and let’s just focus on how adorable her debut middle grade is going to be!!! My heart is ready for them <3<3<3
Meet Me At The Lake by Carley Fortune (2 May 2023): I read Every Summer After like everybody else since I have no personality but I enjoyed it. So that, and the fact that this cover is amazing has brought me here today. I’m a hopeless romantic what can I say?
The True Love Experiment by Christina Lauren (16 May 2023): wasn’t particularly fussed by this one until I read “romance novelist and documentary filmmaker join forces” and suddenly I had to have it! Need to read The Soulmate Equation now *hides*
That Summer Feeling by Bridget Morrissey (20 May 2023): fell in love with this author’s release last year so of course, need to get my hands on this. Apparently, she’s sapphic and I’m here for that.

Something More by Jackie Khalilieh (6 June 2023): I saw Lynn Painter recommend this as one of the best YA contemporaries she’s ever read and it’s about a young girl with autism and I am ready for my heart to melt <3<3<3
Mortal Follies by Alexis Hall (6 June 2023): yes I came back after this post was published because I have to be excited about my fave’s new book!!! Queer sapphic historical fiction with a smidge of fantasy and this amazing cover I AM SO READY!!!!!
Love Theoretically by Ali Hazelwood (13 June 2023): we’ve gone other this before, I have zero self-restraint. But also,,, academic rivals YES PLEASE <3<3
To Have and To Heist by Sara Desai (13 June 2023): never read from this author before but I saw the title and read “jewellery heist” and I WAS HOOKED
The Seven Year Slip by Ashley Poston (27 June 2023): I somehow became obsessed with this author in the past year and her new adult romance is giving Kate & Leopold and Just Like Heaven and INJECT THIS INTO MY VEINS WHO DID I FIGHT FOR THE ARC?!?!?!

The Prince & The Apocalypse by Kara McDowell (11 July 2023): I was approached by the wonderful people at Wednesday Books about an eARC of this one but look at that title!!! It’s a YA romance with royalty and an apocalypse and this book sounds so up my alley I NEED *insert heart eyes*
Bellegarde by Jamie Lilac (11 July 2023): I saw fanart and She’s All That historical rom-com and suddenly I appeared!
Immortal Longings by Chloe Gong (25 July 2023): I would read this woman’s shopping list but also her new adult Anthony and Cleopatra retelling set in the 90s GIMME NOW GIMME NOW GIMME NOW

Grumbones by Jenn Bennett (1 August 2023): I honestly have no idea what to expect from this but Jenn Bennett is a new fave of mine so of course, I will read everything she writes *cue nervous laughter*
From Cold World, With Love by Alicia Thompson (1 August 2023): I’ve heard such fun things about this author’s 2022 release which I definitely need to get to before this, because I can tell she’s going to be fab. Reverse grumpy sunshine workplace rivals and the hero’s name is Asa?!?!?! I NEED THIS IN MY LIFE NOWWWWWW <3<3<3
Tastes Like Shakkar by Nisha Sharma (1 August 2023): I just KNOW I’m going to love Dating Dr Dil and I’m always here for Shakespeare so SIGN ME UP!!!!!

A Tempest of Tea by Hafsah Faizal (26 September 2023): embarrassingly behind on this author but I saw King Arthur meets Peaky Blinders vampire heists and the word “tempest” in the cover and I was SAT
The Wake-Up Call by Beth O’Leary (28 November 2023): let’s ignore that I’m humiliatingly behind on this author and just be excited about a failing business workplace enemies to lovers romance this one is going to be *grabby hands*
Sword Catcher by Cassandra Clare (September 2023): all I know is that this is her adult fantasy debut and I adore Cassie so Imma read it *sighs*

One of Us Is Back by Karen M. McManus: I absolutely love this book series and am so excited to see my faves Nate and Bronwyn again!!!
Foul Lady Fortune #2 by Chloe Gong: I have not mentally prepared myself to start book one yet but I will read anything she writes and I also KNOW that I’m going to love this series so GIMME NOW I AM NEVER GOING TO BE READY *cries*
If Only You by Chloe Liese: obsessed with this author and want to read everything she writes so I need to catch up on the latest Bergmans <3<3
Betting On You by Lynn Painter: I adore Lynn’s YA books and this is apparently about two kids who meet on a plane, don’t get along (at first) with each other but bam they meet again two years later and idk its friends to lovers and IT!! SOUNDS!! ADORABLE!!
A Study In Drowning by Ava Reid: I’ve heard nothing but great things about this author and I have a couple of their books waiting for me, but apparently this is their YA rivals to lovers dark academia fantasy debut and that is all we need to know OMGGGGG
The House For Lost Things by C.G. Drews: I did not know Miss Cait was continuing this series until recently and I’m waiting for book two to come out as an ebook to catch up but omg I miss my babies and IM SO EXCITED TO READ!!!!!!
