Hi yes hello if you’re new here then you probably don’t know that I am obsessed with Stranger Things. And I basically find any and every excuse to talk about it. You’ve been warned. FAVOURITE MOVIES & TV SHOWS OF ALL TIME // you just need to trust my recommendations and go watch them okay
This post has been a long time coming. It’s been sitting as a draft for aeons and I’ve just never put the time into it. BUT you all know how much time I spend watching movies, less with tv shows but when I watch a show I become obsessed and do not stop. So I’ve been meaning to put together this list, it won’t be as long as you’d think it would but it’s here nonetheless. Let’s go! We’ll start with the movies, now I couldn’t come up with 5, I don’t know why I keep trying to add it but I never can so only have four to share with you. Incredibles 2 Now, this movie you probably know I cannot stop talking about since I went to see it last year. Eyy I forgot I did this post at the beginning of 2018, so here we are because I spend most days staring at a screen watching movies. I don’t actually have a life, I know. DON’T JUDGE ME!! TV SHOWS Anne With An E – Season 3: Okay now I may be wrong, but I definitely am holding out hope that this comes out in 2019. We’ll see. I am obsessed with this show, it’s so good YOU NEED TO WATCH IT! Shadowhunters – Season 3B (25 February 2019): This show is not perfect, I know. But I still like watching it every week and am very bummed that they cancelled it. 3A ended on a cliffhanger and I’m really intrigued to see where 3B goes, I hope they don’t mess it up. Game of Thrones – Season 8 (April 2019): I forgot we were getting more GoT this year and I AM SO EXCITED. We’ve been waiting long enough and season 8 is going to be so intense, I’m SCARED! HALLOWEEN PLANS // spooky and scary stories i plan to consume
I’m not usually a fan of scary stuff. We don’t really do Halloween in South Africa, even though I’d love to dress up and get free chocolate a girl can dream. But I have really been in the mood for spooky stories and there a few I think I’d enjoy, so here we are today. They’re mainly books but I did include a show, so let’s just get into it! City of Ghosts by V.E. Schwab I don’t know why I haven’t read this book yet. I have the audiobook downloaded and it’s super short. I started it but haven’t gotten round to finishing it. It seems like the perfect Halloween book so I need to get on this! Mara Dyer trilogy by Michelle Hodkin At first, I thought I wouldn’t be interested in these books but recently, I’ve been really wanting to read them. The whole unreliable main character intrigues me and I have a feeling I’ll love Noah Shaw. I have no idea what to expect and I know I’ll be freaked out but I need to read it anyway?? omg this has been a long time comin’ You’re probably like why now? Well, my friend because I just felt like I needed to. I haven’t even rewatched it (again) but tbh I will probably want to afterwards… who knows? Should I be doing something productive? Probably yes but who wants to be intelligent and manage their time? My Most Anticipated Movies & TV Shows Of The Year
So yeah this is late but I thought it’d be fun anyway because ya’ll know I love my movies and tv. There’s also so much good stuff coming out this year and I’m PUMPED! Also, I LOVE BOOKS OKAY! But I also love me some good tv, pizza and popcorn so of course I have an unhealthy list that I need to get to this year. Don’t judge me TV SHOWS Riverdale: I have to admit that although this show isn’t amazing, it is very entertaining and I always look forward to it every week. It’s not explicitly said that it’ll be back this year but there’s a good chance. Shadowhunters (20 March 2018): Ya’ll know I love Cassandra Clare and this show has it’s faults but I am excited because this year it seems like they’re sticking with the book plot so… Stranger Things: YOU CANNOT TELL ME THAT AS SOON AS I’M OBSESSED YOU’RE GOING TO GIVE ME WHOLE YEAR GAP! Gilmore Girls // thoughts & tags
So I, uh, finished Gilmore Girls and have a LOT of feelings. So what better excuse is it to do a tag?! But before I get into the questions, I’m going to a kind of review, I mean why not? I have a LOT of feelings and I don’t know what to do with them. Hence this post Lorelai and Luke are my fave I love Lorelai’s wit omg The story and plot are superb and I love it The pop culture references and knowledge you get from this show is GREAT I really love that Rory is a reader #relateable All the characters are so unique The coffee appreciation is SO BIG I love the score!! TV SHOW TALK #4
I’ve watched some pretty awesome TV shows in the past few weeks and I just have to tell you all. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend, because they’re so good. Just go and watch them please. THERE ARE SPOILERS AHEAD, AND I WARNED YOU. GAME OF THRONES I’ve been binging this show for a few months because the hype got to me. And oh man, it was AWESOME. Epic is the only word I can use to describe this show. I love Dany, Jon and Arya. I also love Melisandre and Grey Worm. The characters are great. I love the dragons. Top notch stuff. I need the next season. STRANGER THINGS So I may have binged this entire show. And it may or may not be on my favourite tv show list. I gave in to the hype. I’m now with the hype. I’m everywhere. TV SHOW TALK ROUND 2
It’s been a while since my last TV SHOW TALK. Click here to see my first one. I basically tell you about all the tv shows I’ve watched recently so we can talk about them together. I’ve been watching the final season of Teen Wolf. It’s pretty good but I’m still confused at this point. I am enjoying it. I kind of have mixed feelings. Stiles isn’t in it but I think it’s okay. I am coping. I’m very nervous about the finale. It better be good. I just binged Anne With An E on Netflix like yesterday. I love this show. It’s literally 7 episodes in the first season. It’s so good. I highly recommend if you haven’t seen it yet. I usually never love TV show guys, mainly just ones from books, but Gilbert Blythe is the cutest and sweetest boy on the entire planet. Plus, the actor that plays him is really pretty. I love this show. Anne talks a lot and is very enthusiastic to say the least, but I love her quirkiness. I’m excited for season 2. Episode Name: Beside Still Water Director: Matt Hastings Writer: Todd Slavkin & Darren Swimmer Running time: 43 min Release Date: 14/08/2017 Genre: Fantasy Rating: Synopsis: Jace and Clary rush to make a final stand, but when a traitor is revealed, Jace and Clary may have a bigger fight on their hands than expected. Meanwhile, Alec and Izzy must fight off a large mass of demons that have unexpectedly shown up, as Luke and Simon head to the Seelie Court to deal with some unfinished business with the Seelie Queen. MY THOUGHTS (SPOILERS AHEAD) What a finale! It was soooo good. A great way to end the season. We basically didn’t see Sebastian at all this episode, but at least he’s not dead. He’s obviously going to play an even bigger role next season. Lilith is going to be his mother and I’m super excited to see who she’ll be casted as. Malec is back together. I am content. I really loved the scene where Alec, Magnus and Izzy were putting the demon back to Edom. I love them.
