This post has been in the drafts for far too long so thank the heavens I’m actually getting around to it. I honestly do not remember how to post film reviews even though I’m a film major. I choose to ignore that detail. Anyways, I’m going to shoot my shot here because I really want to yell about this show. I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing but giving it my best folks, just bear with me. Quick disclaimer: this is mostly going to be about season two because it’s been a hot second since I watched the first season. And I don’t plan on spoiling any major plot points, I’m not an awful person about to ruin your fun. Let’s get into it! CASTING & CHARACTERS I literally have one complaint about this show and it’s that some of these actors look like they’re 30. Nothing against them because their performances are great but I struggle to picture them as teens #sorrynotsorry. Casting is accurate and inaccurate at the same time and I don’t know what to think. Hello, and how are we doing today? I don’t know which one of you kept me in your prayers and manifested this but LOOK WHO IS ON TIME WITH END OF YEAR POSTS? What a crazy time to be alive tbh… No, but seriously. This is the last of this set of posts that I have planned and I’m quite chuffed with myself. Love that my brand is about never watching tv shows yet here I am watching like a million. Quarantine is making me do it. I may have disappeared for a while because I forgot that once you scheduled one post you actually had to prepare another one. So that’s fun. FAVOURITE MOVIES & TV SHOWS OF ALL TIME // you just need to trust my recommendations and go watch them okay
This post has been a long time coming. It’s been sitting as a draft for aeons and I’ve just never put the time into it. BUT you all know how much time I spend watching movies, less with tv shows but when I watch a show I become obsessed and do not stop. So I’ve been meaning to put together this list, it won’t be as long as you’d think it would but it’s here nonetheless. Let’s go! Eyy I forgot I did this post at the beginning of 2018, so here we are because I spend most days staring at a screen watching movies. I don’t actually have a life, I know. DON’T JUDGE ME!! TV SHOWS Anne With An E – Season 3: Okay now I may be wrong, but I definitely am holding out hope that this comes out in 2019. We’ll see. I am obsessed with this show, it’s so good YOU NEED TO WATCH IT! Shadowhunters – Season 3B (25 February 2019): This show is not perfect, I know. But I still like watching it every week and am very bummed that they cancelled it. 3A ended on a cliffhanger and I’m really intrigued to see where 3B goes, I hope they don’t mess it up. I’m not usually a fan of scary stuff. We don’t really do Halloween in South Africa, even though I’d love to dress up and get free chocolate a girl can dream. But I have really been in the mood for spooky stories and there a few I think I’d enjoy, so here we are today. They’re mainly books but I did include a show, so let’s just get into it! City of Ghosts by V.E. Schwab I don’t know why I haven’t read this book yet. I have the audiobook downloaded and it’s super short. I started it but haven’t gotten round to finishing it. It seems like the perfect Halloween book so I need to get on this! Mara Dyer trilogy by Michelle Hodkin At first, I thought I wouldn’t be interested in these books but recently, I’ve been really wanting to read them. The whole unreliable main character intrigues me and I have a feeling I’ll love Noah Shaw. I have no idea what to expect and I know I’ll be freaked out but I need to read it anyway?? omg this has been a long time comin’ You’re probably like why now? Well, my friend because I just felt like I needed to. My Most Anticipated Movies & TV Shows Of The Year
So yeah this is late but I thought it’d be fun anyway because ya’ll know I love my movies and tv. There’s also so much good stuff coming out this year and I’m PUMPED! Also, I LOVE BOOKS OKAY! But I also love me some good tv, pizza and popcorn so of course I have an unhealthy list that I need to get to this year. Don’t judge me TV SHOWS Riverdale: I have to admit that although this show isn’t amazing, it is very entertaining and I always look forward to it every week. It’s not explicitly said that it’ll be back this year but there’s a good chance. So I, uh, finished Gilmore Girls and have a LOT of feelings. So what better excuse is it to do a tag?! But before I get into the questions, I’m going to a kind of review, I mean why not?
