DECEMBER RECAP // lots of reading and vacation for days aka living my best life
Indeed I do find the background of my featured image very funny. I have a weird sense of humour. You know, I honestly need to stop trying to get these out on time and lying to you all. It’s deceitful and I don’t want to be that person. I just,,, oof I need to maybe start working on them earlier in the month BUT I NEVER DO. But at the same time, I’m incredibly shocked that I’m posting two days in a row. I thought that the recap aspect was fitting haha. Anyways, before it becomes February and I combine them. If I get around to it quickly then idk maybe you’ll see my January one quite soon. Who knows? Not even me. An Ember In The Ashes by Sabaa Tahir {★★★★★}: my friends over on Instagram are applauding me right now because THIS BOOK TOOK ME 3 MONTHS TO REREAD!!! SEPTEMBER RECAP // start of spring, I actually read books (one good, one bad) & other shenanigans
I’m calling it, I would now REALLY like 2020 to end. Okay no, there is ONE saving grace and it was a book. We are all shocked. Anyways, I apologise for,,, not posting for a month. Actually had intended to have this up like a week ago but ah assignments. I had an assignment due this morning so,,, fun times. Let us get dive right into what happened in September. Oh, also happy October I guess. Tis not fall where I live, but spring, and there will most likely be no Halloween not that I celebrated it anyway bc I’m a hermit but still. The Hating Game by Sally Thorne {★★☆☆☆}: thank the holy heavens above that I did not actually buy a physical copy of this book and instead read the ebook or,, idk I probably would have spat on it and tore it to pieces. Also, I don’t want it on my shelf. This book was… for lack of a better…

APRIL RECAP // I read 11 books and may have watched a new show so I must be a new person
Yes, that is the best clickbait title I have ever come up with. Hi hello, this is me, yet again, trying and of course, heavily failing, to be on time with recaps. Emphasis on failing. I also didn’t have any other posts planned and it was about time I uploaded a recap. So here we are today. I have a very eventful thought process I know. I guess just welcome to my chaotic brain?? I should stop now? Let’s just get into the many books I read. Meet Me At Midnight by Jessica Pennington {★★★★☆}: er my gosh did I super duper love this book. It was just so much freaking fun and I thoroughly enjoyed the few days we got to spend together. First of all, are you not already intrigued by this cover? Because that was what made me want to read it. Secondly, I have a whole blog post review up so I’m going to send you over there for more thoughts because we have a lot of books to talk about today – click here!! What did I love about this book? I loved the banter and the summer/lake setting. I loved the semi enemies-to-lovers element…
