Blue Sargent has found things. For the first time in her life, she has friends she can trust, a group to which she can belong. The Raven Boys have taken her in as one of their own. Their problems have become hers, and her problems have become theirs. The trick with found things, though, is how easily they can be lost.
MY THOUGHTS
*SPOILERS AHEAD*
Okay so what just happened?! My mind is so mashed up that it all seems like one book. I adored these books. There were so SO MANY GREAT SCENES that I’ve been wanting and it was all just given to us. Argghhh. Of course I loved it and I just want to gush all the time. SO GOOD.
Pynch is a thing and I’m excited for it to happen. They’re so cute and I’m pumped for it to happen. The fact that they spend so much time together is a clear sign. Also, Ronan is growing on me. He just throws swear words left and right and it’s HILARIOUS. Chainsaw is also still so cute. I also like how Adam is trying not to argue with Blue and Gansey and he just wants to be normal again. And, how, at the court hearing that Ronan and Gansey arrived to be witnesses. They’re honestly just the best.
I notice a trend that in each book they are the points of views of Blue and the boys and then chapters of the supposed “villains”. It’s like a recurring thing. I didn’t hate the Greenmantles but they were pretty weird. Colin wasn’t that bad and I didn’t hate Piper either until the end of the book where she got on my nerves.
The search for Maura just added another layer to the story and I honestly was so curious as to where she went. And I loved how Mr. Gray, who I really enjoy now, was helping Blue. He’s honestly such a great person to them now. I also really like JESSE DITTLEY. Haha did you get it. I couldn’t make out if he was shouting or what but he’s really sweet. That day Blue offered to clean the garden, his reaction was great. Also, that lady from the cave is freaky and I don’t trust her.
Can I just tell you how much I love Bluesey?!! Like they’re seriously the best and I love them dearly. Gansey is a new bae and I love him SO MUCH. The moments between them are PERFECTION and I need more. He’s just a precious mother and they don’t appreciate him enough until they reach the end and find out that he’s going to die soon and I can’t. The scene in the beginning when he fell had me so scared and terrified for him. I will protect him. Gansey you cannot die. My love for Blue has grown and she’s just so AWESOME. She also needs to learn to drive. Those scenes in the Pig gave me life and I just can’t. Also, to see him care so much for her, especially when Gansey didn’t know Blue was helping Jesse, I just wanted to give him a hug. And waiting for Blue to call was just so SWEET!!!!
This book man. SO. GOOD. I’m not prepared for this series to end and I already want more books. It was perfection. The cliffhanger leaves you with SO MANY questions. Bluesey and Pynch are awesome and I’m so EXCITED to see them be together. Loved it!!!
