Not me having a weird time thingy right now and yes I am very proud of the above pun lmao. Whilst it may look like I’m a million years late to this book, your assumption would be EH wrong. I actually read this book a while ago and only JUST found a physical copy. Pretend to hear my evil laughter in the background!!!!
Lol I’m crazy actually, fully aware of that.

Synopsis:
Barrett Bloom is hoping college will be a fresh start after a messy high school experience. But when school begins on September 21st, everything goes wrong. She’s humiliated by the know-it-all in her physics class, she botches her interview for the college paper, and at a party that night, she accidentally sets a frat on fire. She panics and flees, and when she realizes her roommate locked her out of their dorm, she falls asleep in the common room.
The next morning, Barrett’s perplexed to find herself back in her dorm room bed, no longer smelling of ashes and crushed dreams. It’s September 21st. Again. And after a confrontation with Miles, the guy from Physics 101, she learns she’s not alone—he’s been trapped for months.
When her attempts to fix her timeline fail, she agrees to work with Miles to find a way out. Soon they’re exploring the mysterious underbelly of the university and going on wild, romantic adventures. As they start falling for each other, they face the universe’s biggest unanswered question yet: what happens to their relationship if they finally make it to tomorrow?

STAR RATING: (5 out of 5 stars)
Would be pure torture to live the same day over and over again, yet here I am apparently in love with time loop novels? We already knew I was a hopeless romantic.
I really went in not thinking it could be nearly as good as Today Tonight Tomorrow and with very low expectations, but I find myself completely falling for this one and I love it when books con me.

I absolutely devoured this lowkey peculiar but wonderous NA contemporary and I love it here??? What a time to be alive!!!
I would usually not care for Groundhog Day plotlines and I’ve never cared for such a premise, but I absolutely LOVED this and I think it’s such a unique twist on a contemporary. Particularly how Ms Rachel Lynn Solomon did a lil twist on this one, which was super inventive and it was brilliant. Never was the plot repetitive or boring, which it had the potential to be, so a huge round of applause for that.
As usual, the writing was exactly the right balance between being easily readable but also fun and witty. And the subtle diversity really hit different. We especially love to see plus-size representation this time around!!! It’s also sex-positive and I loved loved loved that!!!
Another aspect I really loved was how this book is sort of on the cusp of being YA, but it’s still set in college. Whilst I’m not a freshman anymore, I loved that this book was set at university. Always fun to vicariously live through other’s experiences *wink wink*
The characters were absolutely stunning and I want to give out all the hugs. Barrett was an AMAZING main character and she carried the story forward so so so well. She was headstrong and funny and just all-around loveable. Miles was a cinnamon roll, and though it took a while for him to come out of his shell, he eventually does transform into a glorious butterfly. Enjoy the pun, I’m in a good mood today.
Anyways, yes they were both amazing and I thought they were fantastic as lead characters and just as electric together. They each had their own shiz to deal with, which I thought was expertly handled and absolutely made this book shine. Barrett had some trauma that she needed to deal with and Miles was really withdrawn at first and it was absolutely beautiful to watch them grow together. The slow-burn was EVERYTHING and ugh loved them *chefs kiss*
If you can’t already tell, you definitely need to hop on this stellar new adult time loop contemporary romance that will make you feel all the feels over and over and over and over again. This one shines with witty dialogue, swoon-worthy romance and tender-hearted characters. Go read it so we can be in love together <3<3<3
“I know that I’m awkward around people,” he continues. “That I probably come off as a condescending asshole at first. And I think it might be because I’ve been on my own for so long that I’m not used to thinking about anyone else.”
🕐
“I’ve realized that it’s okay not just to need people, but to want people. I’ve allowed myself to want things unashamedly, to put that out in the world and let the world respond. A risk I’m learning is okay to take.”
🕐
“Anyone can learn this. Sure, it might be hard. It will be hard. But telling yourself it’s not for you is the quickest way to fail. You seal your fate if you begin something, anything, with that mindset.”
🕐
“I could wake up on the same day a thousand times, and every single one would be different because of you. Every single one would be life-changing. Because of you.”
🕐
“Two lonely people with the entire world at our fingertips.”
