JULY RECAP // in which i literally did nothing (??)
July has been extremely busy for me so I basically did nothing!!
I truly don’t know what happened this month. I didn’t watch as many movies as usual, and read 1 book (i know I suck!!) and like hardly posted at all. But in my defence, I went back to school and have been super busy so…

- To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han {★★★★★}: This was a reread and I read it SO FAST on audiobook because the movie is coming out (so excited you don’t even know). I, of course, loved it but I did have some issues. See my full review here
BOOKS I KINDA WAS READING
I didn’t only read one book okay! I was reading other books, I just didn’t finish them?
- Crown of Midnight by Sarah J Maas: I was reading this book on audio but it was for a read-along and I wasn’t really feeling like forcing myself to read it. It’s not that I wasn’t liking it, I’m just a huge mood reader.
- I kinda skimmed the other To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before books because I just fell in love all over again. I’m thinking of maybe rereading them too when I’m done with some other books 😉
- Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare: this is my current read and I have less than 100 pages left. I AM NOT PREPARED. HOLD ME PLSSS. I can’t with this book!!!

- From Twinkle, With Love by Sandhya Menon
- Love, Hate & Other Filters by Samira Ahmed
- When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon (audiobook)
- To Kill A Kingdom by Alexandra Christo
- Children of Blood & Bone by Tomi Adeyemi
- The Fault In Our Stars by John Green which is for school but I also want to listen to it since it’ll be a reread
- The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas

- I met a super cool bookstagram friend in the city and we went to a bookstore and ate burgers at like 11 in the morning so living the good life
- I also went to some publisher events which was awesome
- This bookish wish hashtag on Twitter has been going around and I actually am getting a book which is awesome and I’m super grateful
- I am just so excited for The Darkest Minds!! And To All The Boys!! CANNOT. WAIT. omggggg
- I’m trying to get into audiobooks and have found scridb.com actually has some amazing books so super excited to try it out

I didn’t watch much but that of what I did I ABSOLUTELY LOVED!
Last month I was hyped for Anne With An E and I can say that I ADORE THIS SHOW SO MUCH YOU DON’T EVEN KNOW!! If you haven’t been following me on Twitter, then you wouldn’t know but I’M OBSESSED. I plan on rewatching season 2 soon so that I can do a review and gush about it. I just love this show WATCH IT YOU HAVEN’T!! GILBERT BLYTHE I CAN’T EVEN!!
I also watched Mammia Mia 1 and then 2 and I was sobbing in the cinema. I love these movies so much I just,,,
My other fave which I think I’m including in my top movies of all time is The Incredibles 2 because I JUST LOVE IT. They’re so good and I love the character. I went to see it twice in under 5 days. SO GOOD!!

I truly am sorry for being so uneventful. I have some posts that I’d like to get to asap. And I plan on reading A TON of review books and then hopefully start writing and just do all the things!!.

WHAT DID YOU READ THIS MONTH? WHAT WAS YOUR FAVE READ? DID YOU WATCH ANY AWESOME MOVIES OR TV SHOWS? I’D LOVE TO KNOW!

Oh my goodness Mamma Mia 2 was sooooo good! I’ve had Angel Eyes stuck in my head for like the past two weeks lol. Also, there’s nothing wrong with being really busy, that’s just how life goes. One second you have free time and the next it’s all gone. Have fun with all your August reads! 😊

Omg you’re reading Lord of Shadows!! That book is INCREDIBLE. Also, your tbr looks great! It kind of overlaps with my ~ unofficial tbr ~ because I’m hoping to read Children of Blood & Bone by Tomi Adeyemi and From Twinkle, With Love by Sandhya Menon. I read When Dimple Met Rishi last year and it’s really cute!! I hope you like it.
