MOST ANTICIPATED MOVIES OF 2020 // being blessed with the book adaptations and more exciting releases

So um hi, it has been a while since I talked about movies over here. It’s just been BOOKS BOOKS BOOKS. It’s also been a while since I posted, my January recap is late, but I really wanted to get this up. Yeah, I started uni and it’s been quite hard. So I disappeared off the internet for a bit. Whoops. Anyways, I KNOW I always do these posts late, I just never get the time to do them before the end of the year. AHHH A CONSTANT STRUGGLE. Also, I hope I don’t bore you with this content, as I’d really like to start doing more movie posts. I hardly watched any movies last year which is why they were so scarce. But I have a ton of ideas for this year and I guess we’ll see what happens. Anyways, without further ado let us just get into it. ANIMATION Onward (4 March 2020): All I needed to know was that Tom Holland is in this movie. Well, he’s a voice actor. Same difference. Also, there are purple men. I need it in my life. Oh and Chris Pratt but eh I don’t care about him as much. Soul (17…

MOST ANTICIPATED BOOK RELEASES OF 2020 // hello new decade ft. pretty covers & queer books

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! This post could’ve gone up earlier if I had planned it properly. But I’ve been busy so only managed to get it up in 2020. Oh well. Next year is such a weird year for book releases oh my. There are only really a ton of debuts, which is cool. But I also don’t know what to expect of them. So this could either be the best or worst year for new books? And I can’t find ANY December releases to put on here. Welp. Go publishing?? Enough rambling though, let us just get on with it. JANUARY Loveboat, Taipei by Abigail Hing Wen (7 January 2020): this cover is just WOW. And I honestly can’t gather much from the synopsis apart from travelling and underground clubs?? Either way, it is very intriguing. And definitely one I’d like to read asap. One of Us Is Next by Karen M. McManus (7 January 2020): tbh I don’t have high hopes for this one. But I have at least fairly enjoyed this author’s previous books so I hope this one is good. But we’re always nervous when sequels come out to what is supposedly standalone?? We’ll see how this…

MOST ANTICIPATED BOOK RELEASES FOR THE REST OF 2019 // take a shot every time I say the word “excited”

I literally decided I needed to do this post like today and had this idea that it had to be posted TODAY. Yes you now all now how extremely stubborn I am. I did this last year but huh funny story: wordpress posted an old draft and most of the context disappeared. I didn’t notice it till like 1 month later WHOOPS when I reposted it. Here’s to that hopefully NOT happening again. Anyways, the reason I wanted to post this so quickly was because one of the books literally came out today so it wouldn’t make sense to mention it after it’s released and I really wanted to talk about my excitement. Is that even logical? No definitely not. But oh well. I’ll stop rambling and just get into all the books. There are some great books that are still to come out that I wanted to squawk about! Let’s just get into them!! SEPTEMBER American Royals by Katherine McGee (5 September 2019): oh wow okay I did not know this book was already out WHOOPS. But it sounds so good. What if America had a royal family? Um yes, please. I’m not expecting anything amazing but this sounds…

I am obsessed with this show, it’s so good YOU NEED TO WATCH IT! Shadowhunters – Season 3B (25 February 2019): This show is not perfect, I know. But I still like watching it every week and am very bummed that they cancelled it. 3A ended on a cliffhanger and I’m really intrigued to see where 3B goes, I hope they don’t mess it up. Game of Thrones – Season 8 (April 2019): I forgot we were getting more GoT this year and I AM SO EXCITED. We’ve been waiting long enough and season 8 is going to be so intense, I’m SCARED! The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina – Season 2 (5 April 2019): I binged the first season of the show when it came out and it’s so creepy and scares…

I feel generic here but we all have that list of upcoming books we’re excited about so, I DONT CARE. Also, this list is going to be a lot shorter just because I feel like 2018’s one was so long and I wasn’t truly excited about all of them??? I truly didn’t get to as many books as I’d have liked to this year, which is what I plan to do this year: READ MORE! Okay, I’ll stop rambling now and actually get to the list. NO RELEASE DATE Wayward Son by Rainbow Rowell (2019): Okay why does this book not have a release date? I literally just finished this book today and immediately knew I needed to add it to my list. My Most Anticipated Movies & TV Shows Of The Year

So yeah this is late but I thought it’d be fun anyway because ya’ll know I love my movies and tv.  There’s also so much good stuff coming out this year and I’m PUMPED! Also, I LOVE BOOKS OKAY! But I also love me some good tv, pizza and popcorn so of course I have an unhealthy  list that I need to get to this year. Don’t judge me TV SHOWS Riverdale: I have to admit that although this show isn’t amazing, it is very entertaining and I always look forward to it every week. It’s not explicitly said that it’ll be back this year but there’s a good chance. Shadowhunters (20 March 2018): Ya’ll know I love Cassandra Clare and this show has it’s faults but I am excited because this year it seems like they’re sticking with the book plot so… Stranger Things: YOU CANNOT TELL ME THAT AS SOON AS I’M OBSESSED YOU’RE GOING TO GIVE ME WHOLE YEAR GAP! THAT IS NOT FAIR OKAY! But like seriously, the gap between S1 and S2 was not too long so there is still hope. MOVIES MUSICALS The Greatest Showman (8 December 2017): I don’t know where you’ve been…
