GOODREADS CHALLENGE

I set this year’s challenge to 20 books because I started a bit late but I don’t exactly know what to set it for next year: I’m thinking maybe 35? Or even 40?? I’m just scared to push myself if I can’t read as much because next year is a hard school year. We’ll see…

BEAT THE BACKLIST 2018

I found out about this via Twitter and though it looked fun. It’s basically a challenge where you have to read books that weren’t published that year so it decreases your TBR and you get assigned a team and the more books you read, the more points your team gets. It’s really fun and is hosted over at Novel KnightI’m team Novel Knight and it looks like super fun so if you haven’t heard of it and you want to join, you definitely should and then let me know what team you’re in.

END OF THE YEAR BOOK TAG

I thought it’d be fun to tag, and this one was created by Ariel Bisset and here is a link to her video. I’m not going to tag anyone in particular but if you’d like to do it, just say I tagged you.

1. Are there any books you started this year and need to finish?

Yes there are, and so many of them, Nevermoor by Jessica Townsend being one of them

2. Do you have an autumnal book to transition to the end of the year?

As you saw in my book haul, I bought Let It Snow intending to read it in a 24hr readathon but that didn’t happen, so maybe I read it before the end of the year?

3. Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?

No not really, since it is the last day of the year, but there is one in a few days that I’m excited for but I don’t think that counts?

4. What are 3 books you want to read before the end of the year?

Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare, Warcross by Marie Lu and It Only Happens In The Movies by Holly Bourne

5. Is there a book that you think could still shock you and become your favourite book of the year?

We Were Liars by E. Lockhart because I think I’m going to read soon because it’s so short.
Let'sChat-1So I hoped you liked this fun post. I really loved writing this and comment down below what books you loved of the year and some of your reading goals for next year are.
