THE "I NEED TO READ ALL OF THESE" BOOK HAUL
I always seem to keep my hauls so far apart but it’s probably because I have no money so never really buy books unless I’m in book stories and I always need that free shipping so don’t online shop. *cue nervous laughter* Anyways here I am so I hope you enjoy!
- Daughter of the Burning City by Amanda Foody. I bought this because Ilsa keeps screaming at everyone to read it plus I’m into freak shows now after I watched a movie with one in it so
- Everless by Sara Holland (sent to me by Pan Macmillan) which I have already read. I was in a little bit of a slump when I read this and it’s not the most amazing book but it was reallu entertaining and it got me right of the slump.
- Ash Princess by Laura Sebastian (also sent by Pan Macmillan) which I’d never heard about and when I heard the synopsis it sounded pretty awesome
- People Like Us by Dana Mele which I got from Diverse Book Bridge and actually from the author?! WHAT?! I didn’t know this but the ARC is signed to me and I’m still lowkey freaking out.
- Harry Potter: A Journey Through A History of Magic which I also won in a giveaway and the illustrations are gorgeous!
- A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens which I won in a giveaway and it’s the special clothbound edition and I LOVE IT!!
- A Darker Shade of Magic trilogy by V. E. Schwab and I NEED TO READ THESE ASAP. I’ve heard amazing things and I’m excited
- Mine by Sally Partridge (thanks to NB Publishers for sending me a copy) which I’m so excited for because it’s a YA book set in my country so I can actually relate to because we never get any YA books in South Africa. Plus I’ve been hearing good things so I’m excited
- Love, Hate & Other Filters by Samira Ahmed (thanks to Jonathan Ball for sending me a copy my way) which has a really cute cover and the main character wants to go to film school so I’m really excited!
- Grey Stone by Jacob Kennedy and Jean Knight Place which I’ve never heard anything about but it sounds interesting and I’m starting out NetGalley and needed something to request
- The Illuminae Files by Amie Kauffman and Jay Kristoff book 1 and 2 which I am so excited to get into omg!! It’s sci-fi so this a breakthrough for me. Anyway I NEED to read this
- The Maze Runner trilogy by James Dashner which I won in a giveaway and the first book is signed which is cool. Even though I’m not really a fan but The Death Cure movie has been getting good reviews
- Assasin’s Blade & Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas which I don’t know why I have when I haven’t even read Throne of Glass but I bought them anyway? Please make me read them
- The Hazel Wood by Melissa Albert which sounds amazing and I got the really pretty US hardcover in a rep package (!!)
- I got another copy of The Hazel Wood in UK paperback (thank you to Penguin Random House SA for sending it to me) so I guess now I really have to read it soon.
- Children of Blood & Bone by Tomi Adeyemi which I’m dying to read this. I got an early finished copy and I don’t know where you’ve been if you haven’t heard of this but I need to read it!!
WHICH OF THESE HAVE YOU READ? DID YOU LIKE THEM? I’D LOVE TO KNOW!
