A GOOD OL' COLLECTIVE BOOK HAUL

It’s been a while since my last whole and I have acquired a few books so let’s get into the haul…

  • Love, Simon (Simon Vs The Homo Sapiens Agenda) by Becky Albertalli: The good people over at Penguin Random House SA sent the new movie tie-in edition and I love it
  • How To Hang A Witch by Adriana Mather: This one was in my rep box for THE SECRET BOOK BOX (click here for my unboxing) and I have a discount code for ya’ll to use -> RUBYRAE10
  • The Astonishing Color of After by Emily X. R. Pan: This book was sent to me by Pan Macmillan SA and I squealed when I saw it because eek I’m so excited!!
  • A Thousand Perfect Notes by C. G. Drews: Pan Mac also sent my way and I am hyped for it and really need to read soon!
  • The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern: I actually bought this book myself?? At this big warehouse which was fun.

  • To Kill A Kingdom by Alexandra Christo: Umm this book sounds amazing and I need to read it NOW so thanks to Jonathan Ball for sending my way
  • Every Day by David Levithan: This was a surprise! Penguin sent me the movie tie-in edition of this one so thanks to them!
  • Chaos Walking trilogy by Patrick Ness: I saw the box set of this series and wanted to give it a go so 🙂
  • Out Of The Blue by Sophie Cameron: The lovely people over at Pan Macmillan also sent this to me and the cover is pretty so I’m excited to give it a go.
  • The Crowns of Croswald by D. E. Night: the author sent this to me and the cover is even more gorgeous so I’m really excited about this. Its also really short so I can finish it quite quickly.

Pan Macmillan sent me a whole bunch of books that I know nothing about but here they are:

  • We Are Young by Cat Clarke (ARC)
  • It Looks Like This by Rafi Mittlefehldt (ARC)
  • When The Mountains Roared by Jess Butterworth (ARC)
  • The Lie Tree & Cuckoo Song by Frances Hardinge
  • Oh and an ARC of The Astonishing Color of After so know I have 2 copies

  • The Wren Hunt by Mary Watson: This one is by a local author and it sounds really good and I’ve heard good things so excited to get into it
  • Northern Lights by Phillip Pullman: I saw this for super cheap at that warehouse so thought why not? I liked the movie so am curious to see what I think
  • Trouble With Flying by Rachel Morgan: By another local author and it’s a romance on a plane so I’m super excited
  • Trials of Apollo #3 – The Burning Maze by Rick Riordan: I own all of his newer books and I really need to get into them, just haven’t had the mood yet but thanks to Penguin for sending to me
  • The Exact Opposite of Okay by Laura Steven: A friend has been raving about it and it sounds awesome so excited for this one. Thanks, Penguin!

  • Illuminae & Gemina by Amie Kauffman and Jay Kristoff: I’ve heard nothing but great things about this series and I’m really excited to dive in!
  • Monsters of Verity duology by Victoria Schwab: Ahh so excited for these. I really enjoyed ADSOM and these ones are YA so am super pumped!
  • Heart of Iron by Ashley Poston: I rewatched Anastasia so now am super excited for this one but am scared because it’s also sci-fi
  • The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas: I haven’t read this book yet but I got the new anniversary edition and it’s so pretty. I know I’ll love it so am super excited! Thanks to Pan Macmillan for sending my way
  • Strange The Dreamer by Laini Taylor: I finally got my hands on a copy of this one and am so excited you don’t even know!! Thanks to Jonathan Ball for sending
  • Shatter Me series by Tahereh Mafi: I read the first 3 and loved so was, of course, was SO EXCITED when Penguin sent them to me. They’re so gorgeous and I love them!
