Review: EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING by Nicola Yoon
Title: Everything, Everything Author: Nicola Yoon Page count: 310 Date published: 1 September 2015 Genre: Contemporary romance Rating Synopsis: My disease is as rare as it is famous. Basically, I’m allergic to the world. I don’t leave my house, have not left my house in seventeen years. The only people I ever see are my mom and my nurse, Carla. But then one day, a moving truck arrives next door. I look out my window, and I see him. He’s tall, lean and wearing all black—black T-shirt, black jeans, black sneakers, and a black knit cap that covers his hair completely. He catches me looking and stares at me. I stare right back. His name is Olly. Maybe we can’t predict the future, but we can predict some things. For example, I am certainly going to fall in love with Olly. It’s almost certainly going to be a disaster. (SPOLIERS AHEAD) MY THOUGHTS I completely love this book. The writing flows perfectly. The romance is very cute and normal considering the circumstances. The conversations between Maddy and Olly are so funny, especially the IMs and emails. The setting is peaceful and both the main charcters have to go through their own mess…

TV SHOW TALK
Throughout the past few months, I’ve been watching a variety of different TV shows, and I’d like to share them with you. All of the shows that I’m going to mention are shows that are great to binge watch, and very easy to get addicted to and lose yourself in. So grab some popcorn and fluffy socks, curl up in bed and enjoy. I firstly want to tell you that if you’ve never watched this then I don’t know where you’ve been for the past 20 years. When you need lightening up and a smile on your face, go and watch FRIENDS, one of the most well-known comedy shows of today. This show is so good. It’s funny every episode, and you’ll never be let down. Each character is different and unique, and all have their ups and downs. FRIENDS is all in all such a fun show, and I hope you thoroughly enjoy it Next up is a show that is both drama and fantasy. It’s quite intense, but such a fun story. It is, *drum roll*, The Vampire Diaries. This show ended a few months ago, so there are 8 full seasons to binge. It’s really fun, but…

Review: PRETTY LITTLE LIARS Season 7 Episode 14
Episode Name: Power Play Director: Roger Kumble Writer: Liljah J. Barasz Producer: I. Marlene King Running time: 42 min Release Date: 09/05/2017 Genre: Mystery, Drama & Crime Rating Synopsis: Ali’s turn at the game forces her to face a monumental personal decision, made even more difficult when A.D. triggers Ali to remember a forgotten trauma. Spencer has a long overdue conversation with her father about his past sins and recent whereabouts. Emily continues to navigate working at Rosewood High with both Ali and Paige, especially when Ali comes to a troubling realization about her pregnancy, and Paige makes a big decision. Aria continues to question the fate of her relationship with Ezra and bristles under A.D.’s taunts. And, in the search for Mary Drake, Hanna and Spencer run into a familiar face with a shocking secret. (SPOILERS AHEAD) MY THOUGHTS I gave this episode 3 stars mainly because it had less action than the previous episode, although I still liked watching it because of the information and the answers we got. I wasn’t as shocked as I thought I’d be, because this is PLL, and the answers were given away quite easily, not as I expected they would have been…

Late catching the Fantasy train?
(SPOILER FREE) Are there any others out there that never got to any of the best books because they weren’t at the right age or never really cared for reading. Well, today I thought I’d help all of you out and recommend some of the books I’ve either just encountered or have known about, but only have hopped aboard the “train” recently. This is small list of some recommendations for newbie book-lovers and who want to know which are some of the greatest YA fantasy books to read in 2017. The first rec I have for you is: HARRY POTTER by J.K. Rowling *gasp*. Now these books are just great. The characters are so loveable and relateable. We go to a school everyone wishes they could go to, and now you may wonder, but Ruby, why would anyone want to go to a weird school with a weird name? Well, Hogwarts is a lot of fun. There are awesome classes to attend, and spells to learn, and friends to make. And although these books start out when our main characters are 11, they’re enjoyable for all ages. The Wizarding World is so amazingly unimaginable and Rowling just has more and…

Review: PRETTY LITTLE LIARS Season 7 Episode 13
Episode Name: Hold Your Piece Director: Marta Cunningham Writer: Bryan M. Holdman Producer: I. Marlene King Running time: 42 min Release Date: 02/05/2017 Genre: Mystery, Drama & Crime Rating Synopsis: Hanna is sure Jenna is to blame for a recent professional setback and is forced to bring Caleb up to speed on current events. Aria and Emily team up to investigate Sydney for more information about Jenna and her connection to A.D. Spencer grows closer to Detective Furey, while Aria struggles with her current situation with Ezra. Hanna’s turn at the game is more intense than she bargained for and leads to shocking consequences. MY THOUGHTS This episode was quite enjoyable. We’re inching, slowly but surely, to the BIG reveal in the series finale, which is under 2 months away. Can you believe it? I can’t. We learn that Sydney really has been helping Jenna and the Liars suspect she might’ve shot Spencer. This is possible, but when have things ever been this straight-forward on PLL? Yvonne also wakes up, and she and Toby have the smallest yet very cute hospital wedding. Unfortunately, she doesn’t stay long, because she unexpectedly dies. I’m a big Spoby shipper, but I can’t decide…

What's Up, Wednesday!
I’ve been trying to finish Onyx by Jennifer L. Armentrout, and I almost have. I’m reading it on my kindle, and I’m about 90% finished. It’s gotten really interesting and have a date with it tonight. On Friday, I plan to watch the movie called A Dog’s Purpose. The trailer sounds like it’s going to be a very loveable movie. I also NEED to see Passengers, which is still sitting on my watch-list *ugh* for a few months now. And the TV has been hectic. At the moment I’m watching Riverdale, Pretty Little Liars and Gossip Girl. The final ten episodes of PLL are happening RIGHT NOW and I’m dying to know what Marlene is teasing us about. And tomorrow we find out who killed Jason in Riverdale (finally). I haven’t been able to do much this week because my school-schedule has been packed. Hopefully it clears, so that next week I can tell you more. But for now…..
