Review: THE RAVEN BOYS
Title: The Raven Boys Series: The Raven Cycle Book #1 Author: Maggie Stiefvater Page count: 419 Date published: 19 September 2012 Genre: Young Adult, Paranormal Rating: (5 out of 5 stars) Synopsis Even if Blue hadn’t been told her true love would die if she kissed him, she would stay away from boys. Especially the ones from the local private school. Known as Raven Boys, they only mean trouble. But this is the year that everything will change for Blue. This is the year that she will be drawn into the strange and sinister world of the Raven Boys. And the year Blue will discover that magic does exist. This is the year she will fall in love. MY THOUGHTS **WARNING… SPOILERS AHEAD** So my previous post was about all the popular books I needed to read. Well that was fast wasn’t it?! *cue nervous laughter* I devoured this book and now we’re here. Loved it, as you can see by my rating. I should probably be reading the second book, but again here I am. Okay, Blue is amazing and I really loved her character. I love her style and her personality. I really liked her family and that…

POPULAR BOOKS I NEED TO READ
so I’m very bad at reading popular books yet I’m also so excited to get to them. Well, here’s a list that I plan on getting to VERY soon! I plan on getting to this one like really soon because I’m so pumped. It looks AWESOME and I CANNOT wait to get into it I know. I need to read it but I’m not prepared AND we have to wait a whole year, so hopefully soon because I really want to catch up. This title (and also synopsis) just intrigues me and I’m looking forward to starting this. I’m dying to get back into this world and I’ve heard such great things. I want to read more diversely and this one seems like the perfect fit. Sounds epic! The movie is coming out soon, it sounds super cute and I also want to get to her other books. Heard amazing things and I NEED to read this!! I’ve read Fangirl and now I need to dive into this. Are any of these on your TBR? Have you read any of them? If so, did you enjoy? I’d love to know in the comments. xo

Review: ALMOST MIDNIGHT
Title: Almost Midnight Author: Rainbow Rowell Page count: 144 Date published: 2 November 2017 Genre: Young Adult, Contemporary Thank you so much to Pan Macmillan SA for sending this book my way! Rating: (5 out of 5 stars) Synopsis: Midnights is the story of Noel and Mags, who meet at the same New Year’s Eve party every year and fall a little more in love each time . . . Kindred Spirits is about Elena, who decides to queue to see the new Star Wars movie and meets Gabe, a fellow fan. MY THOUGHTS (SPOILERS AHEAD) I really LOVED Midnight. I love the writing and I’ve actually missed her stories. Rainbow is just so good at captivating the reader’s attention. I loved Mags as a character. This story was just so enjoyable. The illustrations were great. The story flowed so well and it was just utter perfection! I enjoyed Kindred Spirits but not as much as the first story. I like Star Wars but I’m not the biggest fan that exists, but I definetly can relate to loving a fandom that much. I’m also not the biggest Instagram poster so that wasn’t my thing. But I did really like Gabe.…

WHAT'S UP, WEDNESDAY!
Hi everyone! Exams have started so I’ve watched and read as many stories as I can in in preparation for the month of studying. Wish me luck… MOVIES I didn’t watch very many movies, but I enjoyed the ones I have I watched Spiderman Homecoming, and let me tell you how much I enjoyed it. I love Spiderman in general and this one was no let down. Tom Holland is great and cute and hilarious. I really enjoyed this one. I was in the mood for a teen romance movies, so I googled in and one of the first that popped up was Angus, Thongs And Perfect Snogging. The name was peculiar but I was intrigued. So I started watching and it was it bit immature for me at first, but I started liking it toward the end. I’ve been re-watching old favourites and one that I really wanted to see if I still liked was High School Musical. Now, don’t judge. I still really enjoyed them. They’re so nostalgic. In fact, HSM was one of the first “fandoms” I was in. I have merch and all sorts of stuff for it. I overall had a fun time watching them…

MY FAVOURITE SHIPS
Where have I been you say? Writing exams *sighs*. Sorry I haven’t been so active, but today let’s all gush over our favourite ships. FROM BOOKS….. My all time favourite and the first I ever really loved is Clace (Clary + Jace from The Mortal Instruments). Jace is bae and I was just living this ship. I still do love it and always enjoy seeing them in other Shadowhunter books. Now, before Clace (and that kind of romance) I loved Percabeth (Percy + Annabeth from Percy Jackson books). Percy was (and still is) hilarious. I will go down with this ship. They were just so cute and I love them dearly. Any other Anna and Etienne shippers? (Do they even have a ship name??) I loved them from the start. Anna & The French Kiss is my all time favourite contemporary. I just love them so much. From the early days of YA and most probably also say this: Edward and Bella (again, no ship name?) from Twilight. I’m sure we’ve all been there. I thought they were perfect for each other. I think their ship name is Everlark (Katniss + Peeta from The Hunger Games). Again, I was in…
