WHY I LOVE RELATIONSHIPS // faves, friendships & more

So uh it’s Valentine’s Day which may to some people be 1) the best day 2) a reminder that you’re single or 3) overrated and a cliché* *that was my subtle way of trying to understand romance Anyways, what better way to talk about relationships?? And I don’t just mean like couples because I FREAKING LOVE AWESOME FRIENDSHIPS too! Also, I did a kind of similar post a while back so click here for that but it may be a little cringey since foetus me wrote it. SOME FAVOURITE SHIPS Omgg if you didn’t know by now well, I freaking love Jace Herondale so I of course ship Clace even though I wish I could have Jace for myself. KAZ AND INEJ! KAZ AND INEJ! KAZ AND INEJ! Ahhhhhhh!!! I recently read these and I’m obsessed!!! Blue and Gansey make me smile and my heart smiles along with them. They’re ADORABLE You CANNOT make me choose between Jem and Will so I’m just going to say I ships Herongraystairs (that’s their ship name btw)* Omg Percy and Annabeth are so unbelievably adorable! I just can’t deal Umm I love Friends and Chandler so, him and Monica give me LIFE They are too…

    The Ultimate Book Tag

So Icthus Book Corner tagged me to do this tag and it looks super fun so let’s just get into it 1) Do you get sick while reading in the car? Um yeah I wish I didn’t because more reading… luckily music exists 2) Which author’s writing style is completely unique to you and why? OMG I love Rainbow Rowell’s writing style!! (not exactly sure why) 3) Harry Potter Series or the Twilight Saga? Give 3 points to defend your answer. I really love Twilight (I feel like everybody else saying it’s how I found YA) but it’s not the best piece of literature ever made so I obviously am and was going to choose Harry Potter The Golden Trio The world Spells 4) Do you carry a book bag? If so, what is in it (besides books…)? I have a book sleeve which is usually always in my bag and I bring a book when I think I may actually read 5) Do you smell your books? Yeah sometimes 6) Books with or without illustrations? Omg illustrations are the best but, like I don’t want it to overwhelm the actual book. So basically not illustrations > story ^did you see my math 7) What book…

Voldemort Origins Of The Heir // review, likes and dislikes

[Disclaimer: I watched this for my own pleasure and am giving my honest thoughts because of my love for Harry Potter. All opinions are my own and I am in NO way criticising the work put into this film] To those of you who don’t know Voldemort Origins Of The Heir is a fanmade movie that has had some buzz going around since the trailer dropped (click here for the link). It was produced by Tryangle Films and all the other details are in the description of the movie which is available on YouTube As soon as the trailer dropped, man was I patiently waiting for this to come. I mean it’s Harry Potter made by aspiring filmmakers (like myself) so what more could you want? The sets were really impressive and well done. The soundtrack and music wasgreat Tom Riddle was really well cast omg! He so looked the part and played it really well. The plot worked well and the story is intriguing and overall very entertaining I really liked the founder aspect of the story since I’ve always wanted to know more about them, ever since The Deathly Hallows and the horcruxes Seeing the history of Voldemort on-screen…

TYPES OF READING SLUMPS THAT WE BOOKWORMS HAVE TO SUFFER

Okayyy so I’m in a bit of a slump and what better blog post then this? Let’s just get right into the kinds od terrors we all have to survive in the book world. Also, I feel like before we all joined this community, as wonderful as it is, slumps never existed back then but now… #thestruggleisreal THE “NOTHING IS LIVING UP TO THIS BOOK” SLUMP This is the slump that happens when you’ve read an amazing book and now you have no idea what you want to read and struggle to pick up another book because it doesn’t feel like this amazing book you’ve just read. This happens to me quite a lot because I basically love all books and then I never know what to read. THE “TOO BUSY TO READ” SLUMP This happens quite often I think. You get busy at school (or work) and don’t read for 3 weeks and then suddenly you have LOADS of time and don’t want to read. It really sucks because it’s nobody’s fault and the books are crying for help and we have to be evil and tell them we can’t help them. Poor books. They don’t deserve this. THE…

TROPES THAT SHOULD REALLY JUST LEAVE FOREVER

Okay, there are some tropes that just annoy the living daylight outta me and today we’re to name them. THE “DARK, BROODY, MYSTERIOUS LOVE INTEREST WHO’S PERSONALITY CONSTANTLY CHANGES” TROPE There’s (usually) always that one guy who is like a bad-boy and you can’t figure him out and he takes a liking to our main protagonist and they get along. Next day, the guy ignores her, or badmouthes or I dunno is just generally mean. Like dude, you don’t get to be like that. You’re giving the poor girl whiplash and just make us dislike you, especially if we have NO idea why you’re doing it. Can this trope just please stop? Like I enjoy a bad-boy, but gimme a back story as to why you’re being so moody. THE “FIRST PERSON POV WHO IS REALLY NOT INTELLIGENT AND/OR MAKES THE WORST DECISIONS” TROPE You’ve probably seen this many times but I really dislike first person point of view when this happens. They’ll drive me up a wall and makes the worst possible decisions and I have to sit in your head enduring physical and emotional pain? I did NOTHING to deserve this okay?! THE “I JUST GAINED AWESOME POWERS EVEN…
