Review: SHADOWHUNTERS Season 2 Episode 19
Episode Name: Hail And Fairwell Director: Matt Hastings Writer: Bryan Q. Miller Running time: 43 min Release Date: 07/08/2017 Genre: Fantasy Rating Synopsis: After centuries of being lied to and treated poorly by the Clave, the Downworlders decide to come together and take matters into their own hands as the hunt for Valentine and Sebastian intensifies. But what starts off as a way to preserve their own, the Downworlders choice to break with the Shadowhunters, could quickly escalate to war. MY THOUGHTS (SPOILERS AHEAD) Grab a snack. There is SO much I have to talk about. Sebastian & Valentine I feel like I say this in every review, but they just keeping getting heavier and more perfect. Sebastian is great. As always. I feel like Valentine has some other plan, but I have no idea what. They’re great. I’m excited Malec My heart hurts. They’re is so much tension. I can’t. There is something happening with Magnus, Why else would a powerful warlock like himself think the Seelie Queen will actually protect him. But I understand where he’s coming from. The Clave would not protect the Downworlders over their own kind. Maia/Simon These two are just too cute. I love…

Review: SHADOWHUNTERS Season 2 Episode 15
Episode Name: A Problem Of Memory Director: Peter DeLuise Writer: Allison Rymer Running time: 43 min Release Date: 10/07/2017 Genre: Fantasy Rating: Synopsis: Simon looks for a distraction with an evening out with some of his new vampire friends. What started out as a night to let loose quickly turns much darker when Simon wakes up the next morning with no memory of the night before and a dead body he now has to answer for. Meanwhile, Alec orders Valentine to be transferred to Idris to help repair relations with the Downworlders. Magnus recalls when he was a young warlock and found his mother dead. His stepfather then grunts at him in something captioned at Dutch (which it is NOT), and Magnus killed his stepfather. MY THOUGHTS (SPOILER AHEAD) This was a great episode. It was a lot of fun and I had a good time watching it. It kept me at the edge of my seat and I was constantly nervous about what was going to happen. There are a few minor things that I didn’t like but otherwise I really liked the episode. So, the aftermath of last episode has hit Simon fast and that is the main…

A.D. Theories #PLLEndGame
The final episode of Pretty Little Liars is going to air in under 8 hours, and it’s strange to think that tomorrow they’ll be no more to watch and wonder about. I’m sad and excited at the same time for that. This show was the first show I was truly interested in and I can’t wait to see how it’s going to end. So, I thought I’d name a few A.D. fan theories (and one of my own that I don’t see often on the internet) that I think are possible. Let me know which of these theories you think is A.D. A very common theory is the twin theory, which is that one of the main characters has a secret twin and that the twin has been either working for or is A.D. The most popular is the Twincer theory. People believe that Spencer has a twin. Spencer has been acting weird lately, with Wren at the airport and with Toby in the cabin. This theory is something that definitely could happen, seeing as this is PLL. I wouldn’t mind this happening, but everyone is suspecting this so I hope the show doesn’t go in this direction. Another theory…

Review: PRETTY LITTLE LIARS Season 7 Episode 19
Episode Name: Farewell, My Lovely Director: Joseph Dougherty Writer: Joseph Dougherty Producer: I. Marlene King Running time: 42 min Release Date: 20/06/2017 Genre: Mystery, Drama & Crime Rating Synopsis: Convinced they know who A.D. is, the Liars gear up for a confrontation. Spencer, Hanna, and Caleb team up to investigate and discover new information about Charlotte’s death. Meanwhile, Mary Drake returns with a gift for Spencer and Alison. MY THOUGHTS (SPOILERS AHEAD) A lot of stuff went down in this episode. We find out a lot, including Charlotte’s killer, and I am super hyped for the finale. This episode can basically be summed up as preparation for the final episode. Aria was almost caught by the police, and oh man, was I wondering what the writers would do this time, Luckily she was not caught, and we could all breathe. Ezra stood up for Aria, which was sweet, and told the girls how wrong they were treating her. He really takes charge in this episode and I liked seeing that side of him. Then we see Mona falling into the deep, dark pit of games and manipulation. Now, I never thought she was A.D. but the Liars are quite sure…

Review: SHADOWHUNTERS Season 2 Episode 13
Episode Name: Those of Demon Blood Director: Michael Goi Writer: Zac Hug Running time: 43 min Release Date: 19/06/2017 Genre: Fantasy Rating: Synopsis: After several Shadowhunters are killed, the Institute takes controversial methods to avoid a revolt of the Downworlds. MY THOUGHTS: (SPOILERS AHEAD) I don’t exactly know how to explain my feelings on this episode. The episode felt strange to me, but I still enjoyed watching it. Know what I mean? The things that happened in the episode are not in the books, so it felt odd, but it was still well done. They did a good job with the episode, but seeing as I’ve read the books, it felt out of place. The start of the episode was funny. Round of applause to Alberto who plays Simon (next week’s promo trailer has some really good lines from him, which Iim going LOVE watching). And I take back the thing I said last week, because it seems more than likely that the talk between Luke and Simon, denies what I thought happened (unless Simon was just saying that, but he was acting like his usual awkward self so I don’t think he was lying). So, Inquisitor Imogen has…

Review: PRETTY LITTLE LIARS Season 7 Episode 18
Episode Name: Choose Or Loose Director: Norman Buckley Writer: Charlie Craig Producer: I. Marlene King Running time: 42 min Release Date: 13/06/2017 Genre: Mystery, Drama & Crime Rating Synopsis: The Rosewood PD turn up the heat on the Liars, causing loved ones to try and close ranks. Aria’s recent collaboration with A.D. comes to the attention of a surprising source. A.D. presents the PLLs with a choice designed to drive a wedge between them. Meanwhile, everyone tries to find a bit of happiness and spend what could be their last night of freedom with the ones they love before all hell breaks loose. Toby returns to Rosewood, and Aria makes a horrifying discovery. MY THOUGHTS: (SPOILERS AHEAD) Wow. This episode was indescribable. I loved it! My mind is swirling with theories and I’m blown away. Now, I really wonder how I’ll feel about the finale, which is only two episodes away! Detective Furey is gone (for good, I hope) and Tanner is back in, which I’m pumped for, yet nervous of, becauase she’s basically arrested them. Also, are the police allowed to search your phone or computer when they have no real evidence that the Liars did anything, except…

Review: SHADOWHUNTERS Season 2 Episode 12
Episode Name: You Are Not Your Own Director: Billie Woodruff Writer: Jamie Gorenberg Running time: 43 min Release Date: 12/06/2017 Genre: Fantasy Rating: Synopsis: As Valentine and Magnus try to escape the prison, Jace deals with a new identity, and the Shadowhunters face a possible uprising of the Downworld. MY THOUGHTS (SPOILERS AHEAD) This episode was great. It was executed so well and was so well done. The acting was great and the plot was interesting, and overall I was really impressed. The episode starts with Climon. I saw this scene in the promo and was hoping it wouldn’t happen, but unfortunately, it did. Clary and Simon took it to THAT level, which will make it awkward once they break up in the future, to allow her to be with Jace. Clary is also meant to lose it to Jace in CoHF, but now that’s ruined. Did not like this scene, at all. Another big part of the episode is Sebastian. He’s acting like the good guy and Will Tudor is doing a great job. Sebastian was looking trustworthy and reliable. He says some great lines that are hinting at his character from the books (I won’t spoil you). Sebastian…

Review: PRETTY LITTLE LIARS Season 7 Episode 17
Episode Name: Driving Miss Crazy Director: Oliver Goldstick Writer: Francesca Rollins & Oliver Goldstick Producer: I. Marlene King Running time: 42 min Release Date: 06/06/2017 Genre: Mystery, Drama & Crime Rating Synopsis: With Mona making inroads in the game, Emily reluctantly teams up with her to investigate. Ashley returns to Rosewood to check on Hanna after learning some frightening information and asks Caleb what his intentions are with her daughter. Meanwhile, Spencer’s family reels from A.D.’s latest taunt, leaving Spencer more confused than ever about who to trust. Ezra notices Aria’s change in attitude and fears he may have lost her; and A.D.’s machinations cause Aria to have a terrifying nightmare. MY THOUGHTS (SPOILERS AHEAD) This episode really was impressive. I was entertained throughout the entire episode and was sitting on the edge of my “seat” wondering what was going to happen and shocked when I found out. Twitter had also been giving us glimpses of what was going to happen, which made me very excited to find out if my theories were correct. The episode started off with a dancing class. Aria was very nervous and uncomfortable and Ezra was trying to make an effort. It wasn’t working and…

Review: SHADOWHUNTERS Season 2 Episode 11
Episode Name: Mea Maxima Culpa Director: Matt Hastings Writer: Michael Reisz Running time: 43 min Release Date: 05/06/2017 Genre: Fantasy Rating: Synopsis: Shadowhunters and Downworlders are picking up the pieces after Valentine’s attack at the Institute. Downworlder numbers are down and the different packs and clans debate on what they must do to survive. With Valentine in custody, the Institute is on high alert, but Jace carries the heaviest burden of all due to his part in igniting the Soul-Sword and the secret he is keeping from Clary. But Jace and the Shadowhunters don’t have much time to mourn as a greater demon is loose in Manhattan. Meanwhile, Izzy struggles on the road to recovery when she encounters Sebastian, a mysterious stranger, as Simon tries to understand his new Daylighter status. MY THOUGHTS (SPOILERS AHEAD) Shadowhunters is back! I’ve been waiting to see where the producers were taking the story because the previous episodes have been good but not completely satisfactory. I actually really liked the episode. We got some great lines and the cast did a good job portraying the essence of the characters. I really enjoyed the opening scene. Alec and Jace are training, and it was really…

Review: PRETTY LITTLE LIARS Season 7 Episode 16
Episode Name: The Glove That Rocks The Cradle Director: Paula Hunziker Writer: Maya Goldsmith Producer: I. Marlene King Running time: 42 min Release Date: 30/05/2017 Genre: Mystery, Drama & Crime Rating Synopsis: As Detective Furey closes in on uncovering what happened to Archer Dunhill, the Liars team up to protect one of their own. Hanna continues to struggle with the idea that Lucas might be connected to A.D. even in the face of more evidence. Emily surprises Ali with a heartfelt gesture that is undone by A.D. machinations; and the Liars gain insight into where the idea for the game originated. MY THOUGHTS: (SPOILERS AHEAD) I really enjoyed this episode. It was filled with enough suspense and enough drama. I was shocked throughout most of the episode and sitting on the edge of my seat. I was truly impressed and am reconsidering all my theories for the finale. So Spencer is looking seriously guilty at the beginning of the episode, and since it’s been teased that a Liar is going to prison, some probably thought it might happen , but luckily did not, which is a relief. But, who knows, she may get arrested some other time. Then she steals the drive from Furey…
