FLIPPED: new fave movie // original tag, review + excited emotions
So as you can see this is my new favourite movie. I indeed did watch it twice in the span of 3 days and also would be my 3rd rewatch. APRIL RECAP // new theme, movies + becoming a rep
I know I said it last time, but WHERE HAS THE YEAR GONE? I’ve got a busy two months coming up because of exams so like dreading it. SEND HELP TO A POOR GIRL PLEASE?! I’ll talk about them in a book haul but like I GOT SO MANY AWESOME AND BEAUTIFUL BOOKS omg. Like I need to read them NOW. It’s been a pretty decent reading month in terms of books I enjoyed. I didn’t read much (I’ll tell you why later) but what I did read were books that I loved. – Never Fade by Alexandra Bracken {★★★★★}: If ya’ll didn’t know, I was on a dystopian and super power high last month and read The Darkest Minds which I LOVED. It was an amazing time so READ IT IF YOU HAVEN’T! Anyways I love these books even though they can drag a little bit. I read it for Liam okay?! HOGWARTS HOUSE BOOK RECOMMENDATIONS
I’ve been seeing these posts going around and I thought it’d be fun to compile my own list of books to recommend. But basically, I’m just going to pick out a few books that I think fit the specific traits of the different Hogwarts houses. On a sidenote, I can’t really recommend Harry Potter but obviously, if you haven’t read them yet then I don’t know what you’re doing. Let’s just get into all the books Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan: The entire Percy Jackson is awesome and amazing. I think it suits this house because all the characters are so loyal (and also brave). You’d honestly just have the best time reading these! Eliza & Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia: I don’t know why but I just feel like this book fits here. It’s such an amazing (and important) contemporary… it may even be my favourite book, apart from my fantasies. Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare: All of Cassie’s books have loyal character but this masterpiece stands out to me. It’ll break your heart in the best way but it’s SO GOOD omg (!!). So I’m back again with some movie reviews! I hope you like these. Also I’m horrible at keeping track of what I watch so I created a thread of movies (and some tv) on twitter that I watch and I try to make aesthetics (but it’s hard) and they’re not great but I TRY. Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle So I have kind of mixed feelings with this one. I heard people say that it was really good but I disagree. I think it was decent but it didn’t feel like Jumangi. It was a little (in my opinion) cheesy and was more like a jungle game not like the original. With the original, you knew it was dangeroud and you felt that but I didn’t get that with this movie. Anyways I was really disappointed. Rip Tide I was browsing Netflix because I didn’t know what I wanted to watch. I saw Debbie Ryan and I thought ‘why not?’. Now I didn’t hate this movie, it wasn’t mind-blowing but I thought it was okay. I liked the plot line. The story was a bit off at times and I had no care in the romance but it wasn’t at…

TROPES THAT I CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF (part 2)
So a while back I did TROPES THAT SHOULD REALLY JUST LEAVE FOREVER and I wanted to do a “tropes that I love” post. I don’t hate all tropes actually… who would’ve thought? THE “I LOVE YOU BUT CAN’T/WON’T ADMIT IT” OR “SLOW-BURN” TROPE This may be a little annoying at times just because you want it to happen but it’s just not. It also usually takes the entire series to happen but like I love it? Yeah, I’m TRASH for romance. And also a crazy person. But like I can’t resist… THE “CHOSEN ONE SAVES THE WORLD” TROPE With this it kind of depends. Back when I started reading I loved it but now it really depends on the story and setting. The most common being Harry Potter and Percy Jackson which ya’ll know I love. If it’s done really well and in a unique way then it’s awesome. THE “SWEET, KIND AND ADORABLE MALE LOVE INTEREST” TROPE Bad boys annoy me but I also love quite a few. I cannot help but fall for the sweet ones though. I mean how can you not?! Need I say more?
